While I enjoy reading all the questions and answers, nothing I read will change how I feel about Jesus. Is anyone out there going to become a Christian or stop being one based on what they read on Yahoo answers?

Who knows? But, being a Christian, it is a great opportunity to help others understand what I believe and why I believe it. God said His Word would not return to Him void. And I love the spiritual stimulation. Every so often, there's a sincere question asked and, if I know the answer, I like to share(especially when so many just use the question to mock). I think there's always a chance that opinions are changed or at least you might learn something you didn't know, or think about something you never contemplated before. I think as long as you are open-minded and willing to listen to others, anyone's opinion can be changed (to right or wrong). I always line up any opinions with the Word as I'm sure you do,too and I think that's why you ask the question. Those who have rec'd Jesus are not going to change.....but, there are things we may believe that need to be weeded out of our own preconceived ideas. We're a work in progress.

I think on the question of religion opinions aren't about to be changed by anything said on here.

By the same token, in reading answers by other people, I have learned several things and had several things that I believed previously to be true were either not quite what I believed and on one occasion, completely contrary to what I thought I'd known previously...

So... anything is possible.

But then, I really doubt anyone is about to say anything that could cause me to change my religion. I'm a Unitarian and I've pretty much heard enough from enough religions to know that there probably isn't any single one with enough truth to be the only true religion; which is why I'm a Unitarian.

nope. I'm a life-long latter-day saint (mormon). I have read some things that I have found interesting and thought provoking and I have also read the majority of the anti-mormon arguments but the only thing that changes is my opinion of other people. There have been times when someone has said something that is not compatible with my beliefs but that I found beautiful anyway. There have been other times when I am amazed at the ignorance and hatred that others exhibit.

Yes, my opinions about things change by reading things here. However, it doesn't change how I feel about Jesus, only how I understand other people.

Actually, I've changed my mind. It does change how I feel about Jesus. I feel that my faith in God has been supported and confirmed throughout all the discussions that I have read.

Maybe. I have read a few sincere entries among all the hateful sarcastic ones that actually make me think.
I would say so far I have become less of an agnostic and more of an athiest with all the self ritious religious entries on this site. It always amazes me what some people believe in spite of rational proof of the opposite.

Yes. Proof of god would throw me for a loop. I would totally be taken aback. To an ends I cannot fathom! I really would. In fact I cannot begin to convey how much my world would be turned around. Until then, the bible and "a feeling" that he exists doesn't cut it. I really would change my opinion if there was just an iota of proof.

No. Nothing can move me off of my belief that Jesus is Lord and the bible is God's word.

I always knew Satan had a lot of followers..and it sure shows on this websites..why do you think it bothers them so much because someone believe in God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost?

I think the atheist protest too much..they are only showing their ignorance ...they are silly at best with their lame arguments..
