Strong delusion is blindness. The blindness that is said in the Bible affecting those that can not see truth. Their ears can not hear and their eyes can not see. Knowledge and sight are given to those who seek from the heart to strengthen their relationship with God.

Deception. He will allow those who take pleasure in sin and refuse to believe the truth, (so that they might be saved), to believe the lies of satan that will destroy them and send them to eternal torment. If they continually refuse the truth, there is nothing He can do. It is their choice. He will turn them over to their own sinful desires.
