Some people don't have enough of a revelation of Who Jesus is or what the cross really represents. If we don't pray and have a knowledge of the Word we won't understand what His promises are or who they're for. We build our faith up by hearing the Word and acting on that Word. Christianity is a way of life, a daily way of life.

"Christianity was the ultimate product of religious syncretism in the ancient world. Its emergence owed nothing to a holy carpenter. There were many Jesuses but the fable was a cultural construct. Nazareth did not exist in the 1st century AD – the area was a burial ground of rock-cut tombs. Following a star would lead you in circles. The 12 disciples are as fictitious as their master, invented to legitimise the claims of the early churches. The original Mary was not a virgin. That idea was borrowed from pagan goddesses.

Scholars have known all this for more than 200 years but priestcraft is a highly profitable business and finances an industry of deceit to keep the show on the road. "Jesus better documented than any other ancient figure" ? Don't believe a word of it. Unlike the mythical Jesus, a real historical figure like Julius Caesar has a mass of mutually supporting evidence."

Because I dont think I should be thankful for a guy that supposedly died for our sins that I wasn't even alive to do. How can i commit a sin when i wasnt even born.

Why do we think he will not help us? Well - have you ever wondered why all the good things that happen are attributed to him when all the bad things were 'meant to be' by God or was influenced by the devil. A diety infallible of fault is utterly ridiculous

He died on the cross because he claims he is the saviour in a god worshipping era. Not because of anyone else. If he really want to save humans, he should remain on earth. It should be easy for him since he claim he is t he son of god.

He does not need all those miracles, he just need one, and that is to remain on earth, that he can't do.

Because Jesus so far has never directly influenced my life.
And even if he supposedly did, there's no evidence for that either, is there?

Because they do not believe. Because they would rather mock etc all of us who do believe...but perhaps we should be glad of their mocking..it is good practice for when we need to defend our faith against the real bullies.
