If you mean will it become one, no it's not massive enough. It will become a white dwarf in a few billion years, which will slowly cool into a black dwarf. Which is mainly extremely dense carbon.

There is a theory that our solar system moves in relation to our galaxy just as the planets move around the Sun. What do you mean by "wouldnt we be gone already the sun is so slow?" The black hole doesn't have to be big at all to devour the Sun because it can slowly suck in a tiny bit of it at a time until it is all gone. Also nobody knows what will happen after the year 2012 because all Mayan documents were burnt and destroyed in a spaniard invasion. The black hole thing is just a possibility because there is no other plausible explanation for how we could possibly be destroyed so soon. And adders, the Sun's light only takes 10 minutes or so to reach the Earth, not 93 million years, because light does not travel at 1 mile per year.

The sun isnt headed anywhere. A black hole may be headed towards it. The sun isnt slow, It is just 93 million miles away from Earth. This means it takes 93 million years for the sun's light to reach Earth. our entire galaxy would end nearly instantaneuosly however, if a black hole did indeed consume the sun.

No,the Sun is in a constant position and would not be headed towards a black hole as such, the black hole it`self would need to expand it`s size to actually encompass the Sun and all neighboring planets.

The world is more likely to be destroyed by the likes of idiot humans not unlike yourself long before we'd have to have any worry about black holes being our undoing.
