That's a hard question to answer. I have many Christian friends, some of whom are very, very religious. I think most Christians are kind, but it seems that not enough are open-minded. I dislike the my-way-or-the-highway attitude they often use. To me, a good Christian is someone who is kind, treats others with respect, and is not prejudiced and judgemental. I really only have a problem with the right-wing conservative Christians that refuse to consider the fact that they might be wrong, and encourage hate against certain groups of people.

It is someone who holds a baseless and irrational view on a particular subject. Does that make them a bad person? No. I have many Christian friends whom I both like and respect.

To me a Christian is a person who believes that Christianity is the only way to spiritual truth and who believes that anyone, no matter how good they are, who doesn't believe in their God is condemned to an eternity or torture in hell. The epitome of monism.
A note to Christians: did you ever consider that another way might just possibly be just as good? What if your beloved parent or sweet child believed in the Great Goddess? Would you believe your dear one lost to hell?

A person who believes in the virgin birth, crucifixion and resurrection of the Jesus of the bible.... or at least someone who says they do. Quality of belief does not matter to me. They are sometimes nice people as individuals but scary as a group.

Well there is the supposed to be and there is the tends to be
Supposed to be list - honest for one - Shunning evil for another so a bit of a loner -
The tends to be that I see
A liar a hypocrite - a sexual deviant someone who hates themselves because they feel thier very nature is evil
A thief
That is how I see them more and more
Quite the oppisite of the supposed to be list

Somebody who is afraid of their own intellectual abilities but prefers to cling to the folk lore of ancient desert tribes who had a very limited knowledge of the world and its diversity thus inventing spurious reasons for the phenomena they saw around them.
