I doubt very highly that I will ever become religious again (though it isn’t impossible). I don’t believe you should ever entirely close your mind to anything (this doesn’t mean being naïve). I do however change my views and ideas all the time and will continue to do so. I’m not scared to change. I was once a christian.

No. Religions are rules that are stagnant. As long as people are stuck in these rules, they will stay the same. All these lines and boundaries separating each religion from tolerating and accepting outsiders will keep everything the same.

The only promise is that people grow outside of these dogmas, and think for themselves.

My religious history:

I started out Christian Science. Then Mom asked me if I wanted to try "our side" of the families religion. So I tried Catholicism. After seeing how forceful and mean it was, and didn't allow me to think for myself, I (age 8 or so) went back to Christian Science. Then after failing to "heal" my homosexuality (a big epiphany--God made me this way), I decided to throw all religion away, only to eventually get back the important chunks through sampling many religions and philosophy.

Now I'm more Gnostic. This allows me to grow Spiritually, picking up gems from all my religions and experiences while discarding the strict rules and dogma.

My religious views are always evolving, but considering I've just gone through a very intense period of questioning and come out with basically the same belief system, I'm guessing that I won't make any drastic changes any time soon.

I was raised in a very conservative Christian home but never bought into it and was generally agnostic up until my mid teens, went through a bout of all-out atheism, and eventually converted to a more liberal form of Christianity a few years ago.

my views have changed. i came from a strict religious society..i travelled around for some time, i read some books, i met interesting people..i tried different things..i am more open minded than yesterday..its good when u're exposed to many things...they can change you. but always remind yourself what is good and what is wrong..there are limits.

i thought my previous religion was the only way. then i learned new things..and im still learning. i take the good stuff from many religions...there is something to be learned from every religion..its like you learn biology..you dont always look at one book..you'll look at many books..thats how you learn things...you'll gain more knowledge...and you'll grow.

my belief system is suited to religions that value open mindedness.

Go universal!!

I've been 3 different religions - Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism. I don't think I will change again. I have studied many religions and continue to do so. My views about specific things will likely change as I continue to learn more and more, but I doubt if I'll change my religion again.

Used to be xtian. First Baptist then Worldwide Church of God. Been and Atheist for the last 7 or so years. I went from one church to the other after a year of research and inner searching. Still had "issues'' with religion. I will be an Atheist till the day I die.

I was a Baptist before converting to Mormonism in 1965. The only change I foresee is to the better and magnifying my callings in the leadership.

All during the years of my inactivity I never denied my priesthood authority and Church doctrine. I have now put those sinful years behind me after gaining forgiveness of God and am moving forward in my sunset years.

My views have always changed. I learn, I change. That's why I say that I'm always wrong. Because ten years from now (or ten minutes) I'll look back and laugh at what I thought now. This event repeats itself constantly. I figure the opportunity to learn and grow is worth the embarrassment at being wrong. it's worth it. I only hope to prove worthy of this opportunity.

I am a Mormon. I hope that any change to my religious beliefs will be to have a more profound understanding and deeper love of my religion. I believe in Mormonism very deeply and sincerely. And I have always been that religion. My mother was, her parents, their parents, and their parents. My grandfather's great-grandfather was a Prophet of God.

I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints...

I have attended many different religious ceremonies over the years and in many countries.
