Replace the "-" with an "o" ...I just wanted to respect G-d.

I believe, yes. I was just wondering what others believe. Also could you elaborate please?

Thanks,
Justin

Why so many people have you missed the possibility of a middle ground truth?

God exists. God does not exist. Why couldn't it be that either assumptions are based on the definition of God that has been set by religions/people and the history, when in fact most definitions are mistaken for human king attributes such as "gets angry", "loves you", "punishes you", "rewards you", "takes revenge", "gives you wealth".

For me God's existence is a possibility or a no possibility, but if he exists then none of the most common attributes are true.

God created the universe. God did not create the universe. Why couldn't it be that God neither did create the universe nor did not, it's just that the universe evolved and still evolving while God is the perpetual catalyst for the process?

I believe that people tend to go to extremes because that's a subconscious bias, some type of self-defense mechanism. What do you think?

People keep saying Jesus fulfilled the Old Testaments but so what? He still taught against it.

So, theoretically, I could drink, smoke, gamble, cheat, lie, get an abortion, murder someone and as long as I confess my sins to god before I die, I'm going to heaven? Plus, if Jesus already died for my sins, what would I really have to ask for redemption for? This just doesn't seem like much incentive to love a sin free life.

This is a theoretical question, meant to educate, so don't get your panties in a twist.

Would day dreaming about having millions like someone else be considered covertness? Even daydreaming of doing good things...sending out missionaries, building churches, feeding the poor etc..if your imagining what you could do with someone else’s resources (money) is just fantasying coveting too?

I've looked and I can't seem to find it. None of these verses that people twist into whatever they want. I'm asking for the exact place where it says that abortion is a sin.

It seems like an oxi moron to call yourself a christian and imitate Jesus. If you have an angry response to this question please save it, im only curious about the christian belief system.

This movie is a mockery to christianity. It focuses to much on how he died, when we should be focuses on why he died. The Passion is trying to convert people through guilt, when that is not what Jesus would have wanted, he would have wanted us to convert because of his love and teachings. Many try to convert others not through the reward of being a christian, but of the consequences of not being one. That is wrong, and I think Jesus would think that to. Let people become christians because they believe in what Jesus taught and why he died for them. God Bless.

I'm a Christian, and I believe that Jesus died for everyone, not just those of us who are Christians. I know that a lot of Christians do believe that people who aren't Christian will go to hell, but this is one Christian who doesn't believe that--and there are others of us. So please, don't use gross generalizations in your questions and answers regarding Christians. I don't fit the category.

......is it all in your head?

Is there a God?

There is no solid proof (there may be evidence, but nothing to make it fact).

Even the religous type admit that it comes down to faith.

With faith we can only draw two conclusions. One there is a higher power we can connect to through our body, mind and/or spirit. Or two, it's all in one's head.

So is the central argument: Is the feeling of God real, or all made up based on knowledge and experience?
