I am trying to write a report on religious cults...any good websites out there?
Maybe even looking for a specialist in the field.

You'll have better luck if you search for NRMs (New Religious Movements) instead of "cults". That is the objective term used by serious researchers in the field.

what an excellent project. be careful, though, and make sure you adequately define what is a 'cult religion' - for, are not all religions 'cults'?

btw, i use the word cult purely academically, it's not necessarily a bad word, it's just been given that connotation recently. we can legitimately refer to 'the jesus cult' and 'the yahweh cult' - mainstream religious groups, those.
