Sure it is. I love myself all the time, and I'm as gay as it gets.

With love in Christ.

Of course it is ok to love yourself. The Bible, which is the Word of God, clearly says, to: Love Thy Neighbor as thyself. If should, of course, love yourself.
If you would buy something for yourself, and your neighbor has need of such a thing, you would love your neighbor enough to give freely to that person.
Here is where the verse comes in to play: Do unto others, as you would have others do unto you. i.e. Love thy neighbor as thyself.
Being Gay has nothing to do with either of these scriptures.

Jesus Christ taught, "You should love you neighbor as yourself."

This command assumes that you do love yourself.

We are each a unique masterpiece work of art, a bit of a self portrait, of the artist, the one true God who is Love.

If you hated or disliked yourself then it would seem be okay to hate of dislike your neighbor and totally negate the purpose of the commandment.

This has nothing to do with sexual orientation.

With love in Christ.
