I asked an earlier question and could tell from the answer that few knew anything of a Fairy circle, or, of its spirituality for many not of the Christian or Muslim faith.

For some in that question. I did live in Ireland for a bit. I would walk out of Killarney about a mile and into the wood of the park. there I would rest from the day and commune with who are what ever showed up including my own conscience. While in killarney I manage to find a different circle each week. It is such a place. I could say spirituality was rampant.

Would you care to add to the list of Religion /Spirituality questions that deserve drinks?

Paschal's Wager
Why do atheists come here?
Do non christians celebrate holidays?
How can you not believe in god?

I would love to add one to every "out of context" we see.

Jesus is an alien, and would have to apply for a Greencard or Visa, or better yet would have to marry an American Girl to be allowed entry! Oh that makes my day knowing that he would still have to be denied entry into the US as he would be considered a rebellious religious organizer!

Can we add drinks to the question about non-Christians celebrating holidays? This tired old question deserves a toast from us. Agreed?

Lets all keep a copy/past of the Pagan celebrations that Christianity stole from to make Christmas and Easter. Then we won't have to write it out every single day.

Ok, I already know the answer but I wanted to ask this question. When is Jesus Christ's birthday and why? When do you think it is and give a reason for why it must be so. The more detail the better. :-)

In Matthew 16:19, Jesus tells Peter, "I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven." In Acts 1:15-26, we learn that though an Apostle dies, his office lives on and is taken by a successor. Unless Jesus took the keys away, the successor of Peter still holds the keys and has the authority to bind and loose. So why do you not accept the authority of the successor of Peter? Do you think Jesus took the keys away? If so, when, and what evidence is there He did so?

why couldn't it say "slavery is horrific, it disgusts god"
the bible spent countless space declaring simple things like working on the sabbath as punishable by death, but at the same time speaks of slavery of everyone in the world (exept jews, go figure) as an uninterested bystander.

and why not say "women are to have the same opportunities where they are fit to fulfill just as men"
all the way up until these last 40 years it was understood that the bible wanted women to be submissive in society, and yet we have cultural/religious amnesia about the whole ordeal women have suffered.

why couldn't the bible spent two freaking sentences setting these things more clear for mankind, instead of justifiying them in a roundabout way?

Does that mean ANY act of selfishness is a SIN ?

Are not the 10 COMMANDMENTS just a basic broad guideline ?

Is not the act OF NOT DOING GOOD (especially when we know we should) , just as bad (evil) as deliberate acts of sin (evil) , (selfishness).?
