If your daughter asked on Y!A? if you were crazy? I'm thinkin that my ma wouldn't actually mind but I could be wrong. I wouldn't mind if people questioned my sanity on this or any other online forum. Same with the people who get mad about people giving "god" a hard time on here and making jokes. Do you think god would really mind?

All life possesses, or is part of, spirit. The spirit is more "distinct" or "unique" in the case of higher organisms.

I think it is not paradoxical, as long as you state what type of intolerance you are not tolerating. For example, I am intolerant of religious intolerance, and racial intolerance. But I am not intolerant of intolerance of those things. I am tolerant of intolerance of evil and terrorism.

So, there are different types of intolerance and tolerance. And when I say I'm intolerant of racial and religious intolerance, that is just one type of intolerance, not all types.

Get it?

The night before Easter, I dreamt that I met a guy, and he was about two or three years older than me, then I was stage left, way over by the side my feet just hanging off the side of the stage, and then the guy I met took me into his arms, stared at me in the eyes and chanted something, and his friends were chanting with him, and he thrust me into another guy's arms, and the guy turned me around and said, "kiss me" I was nervous, so I ran off but then I heard them talking about they would never make the mistake of initiating a stranger ever again, so I came back and kissed the guy. Then, I was by a pool like at a Y or a high school or something with the lanes and stuff, and I had a backpack that spilled and my Mom asked me about the stuff that was in it, and among those things, was a black book with a gold ankh on the front of it, and she asked me what it was, and I said it was just a journal, and so she let me go, but I knew I had been lying, though I didn't really know what about.

Should churches be responsible for their hateful rhetoric?
I know a young man who committed suicide. He could not deal with the "sin" of homosexuality. He sought guidance from his pastor and his family...who all told him he had to turn away from this sin.

He said he tried to turn from these feelings and couldn't. He was told that he would either have to live a life of celibacy, or marry a woman and deny his sexual impulses. He decided he was unable to do this.

We do not understand the origins of sexuality...we do not understand the psychological state of many who are gay...are we doing the world a disservice by asserting our beliefs...which are only that, beliefs...interpretations of scriptures...for we are not God.

Who are we to tell this young man he is sinning and should remain celibate...who are we to tell this young man he cannot live out his life as he feels he should? Should we as mere humans, make such judgement calls?

Muslims arent the only religious people to do violence, in fact, every religion, including Budhhism has followers who do violence.

The problem is, most people dont understand the real issue behind religious violence. The issue is not whether all religions have people who can do violence but whether some religions create a whole other "species of violence" that otherwise wouldnt have existed.

You can tell a person who doesnt understand the issue by remarks such as "every religion has extremists". Remarks such as this imply that all religious doctrines effect people the same way, which is of course absurd. If different religious doctrines can affect people different, which of course they can and do, then we must expect some to inspire less..and more levels of violence and peace.

Only an idiot would deny the Buddhism, generally, gives rise to a more peaceful people, and only an idot would deny that Islam gives rise to more "religious violence" by comparison.

~Please read carefully~
Islam and muslim are never mentioned in the Ancient Holy Text of the Bible.
I do how ever see many times the words Jewish and Christian!
Those prophets practisiced their religion pleasing God, some as Jews and others as Christians. I know my Holy Text and it's Author knows me.
I Love him and he loves me...
Jesus Christ the Messiah and Savior was "a lamb with out blemish"=no sin, whom takes away the sin of the world=original sin (Adam and Eve) Only he is worthy to be our Spiritual King! He was the one the Prophets prophecied about. That is the meaning of prophet= to prophecy.
Jesus Christ the Messiah fulfilled the prophecies. Jesus Christ was not a mere Prophet. He was proclaimed of as the Son of God. The Angel Gabriel said "he would be called the Son of God" I hope this helps you and sheds the light of Jesus Christ upon you.
Jesus Christ is the Truth the Light and the Way.
Ask him youself he is very near!

why do athesits try to convert people to athism
i know christans and other religions try to convert people because they want to inspire them to live better lives and have hope in life but atheism does not help people in life. I know thinking that there is no life after death is depressing

I have been told that I am one of the 'mockers and scoffers' that will appear at the End Times. So, what am I supposed to do in this position? What if I get bored of mocking and scoffing? Could I prevent the Antichrist from appearing by ceasing to mock and scoff?

I found a Book yesterday down in the bottom of a cave near my home, and the Book clearly states that Serpents cannot open their mouths and speak Hebrew.
I suspect that this is a true Book, because the Book says that the Book is a true Book, and it says this right there in the front-pages of the Book.
What more proof could I possibly need?

Now. I'm Pagan. Don't get me wrong, I believe mediums and seers (people who can foresee the future) exist.

But, come on. Really. Miss Cleo? Sylvia Browne? I just walked away from a conversation a few hours ago because a person said they were possessed by a Japanese spirit from another universe, and that that same spirit they were possessed by were friends with a cartoon character from an Anime (Japanese Cartoon Show).

The sad thing was this person was over the age of 30.

Anyone else tired of this, regardless of whether or not they actually believe in mediums or people who claim they can see the future?
