"A scoffer seeketh wisdom, and findeth it not: but knowledge is easy to him that understandeth."
What to do? Open your eyes and ears and put your gifts to good use. Perchance an attitude adjustment is about due? You sound as if your eyes are opening up, otherwise you would not be in your current state of denial. This is a normal reaction when the truth about you begins to make itself seen. It is shocking as it sinks in. There is so much to grasp and understand. You have the choice to face things and take some control of your life or hide and hope things turn out ok.
I doubt you, one person, can prevent too much from happening, but you can certainly take care of yourself. After all, only you can handle how you respond to given stimuli. Your wording leads me to think you have a high opinion of yourself. Perhaps you might consider cultivating humility. Humility does not have to mean cowed or beaten, it is just a form of selflessness in action.
I would imagine it depends upon why you are a mocker and a scoffer as to how you handle various stimuli. You should perhaps give this matter much impartial but insightful consideration. You will know when you find the right answer. Then decide if this is the way you like to be and, if you do not, take appropriate action. Are you happy being negative like this? Master of the cheap shot?
I do believe that you are more serious about things than you are letting on! You know full well the roll of mocker and scoffer is one of limited time. Eventually you stop fighting and fact things. You know this is a defence mechanism to avoid thinking about the true "what is" of our today in this world that is being prepared to blow.
Might I suggest you take a look at a few of these sites I have for you to look over and see if anything sparks with you. While you are wasting time being "cute" you are missing opportunities to learn and find out what you can do to perhaps truly make a good difference in the world. This is a negative behaviour. Surely you can contribute to rather than worsen the situation?

Rather than scoff and deny, educate yourself. This is definitely for the best. Realize we approach the end times and prepare as best you can. Speak to others of what you feel and see. One mind at a time we can make a difference.
Find something you believe in and get involved. Just make sure it is a good thing. Turn off your television news and mainstream media and learn about the world in other ways. It is amazing how this can change how you perceive things.

God gave every one free will, and you have a right to choose to do or not to do with it as as you please, but in doing so I also ask that you try not to cause harm to other people. Mock and scoff, or not mock and scoff, that is for you to answer, either way it will make no difference in the Antichrist coming or not coming to earth.
And really does it make a difference to whether the Antichrist comes or not?
I mean evil happens all the time and people are subjected to the malice of others everyday. What is important is how we live our lives. It is important to care about all people no matter what belief or non belief they might have. You can not count anyone unworthy, or worthy if you are a Christian, because then you would be judging and God says not to judged, because that is His job not ours. That is, if you are a Christian you are not suppose to judge. Get mad if like at what I say, but a real Christian is loving and caring and does not condom, or coerces or try to convert other people. They set a good example and share about their beliefs when asked.
I mean get real if you try to force a person to believe what you believe than you are the same as a dictator.
As a Christan If you can not accept all people for who they are, then you are being contradictory to your own beliefs.
If people practice more tolerance and less discrimination then we would indeed live in a better world.

I see. And this person who told you that is an authority by whose standards? If you mock and scoff, then you do. It is as simple as that. If you want to open your heart to God, then you will. No one really knows what will happen or if it will or when. Personally, I believe the Book of Revelations was written for the people of the 1st Century. And no, you would not prevent the Antichrist from manifesting by ceasing to mock and scoff. I hope you find more positive things in your life. Blessings, Diana

lol - thanks man, what a brilliant idea.
Picture it. The AntiChrist gathers together all the mockers and scoffers for the start of Armageddon.
"Right you lot, obviously, this is going to be a tricky time, people are gonna get hysterical, they're gonna notice a couple of things when the leviathan surfaces and the moon turns to blood and yadda yadda yadda. Gonna be looking to you guys to run counter-intelligence...you know the sort of thing, 'It's a coincidence, it means nothing, etc etc...Got it?"
"Erm...We're not coming."
"What?"
"We're not coming. We're fed up with this mocking and scoffing lark. The pay's lousy, the perks are questionable...I bet you don't even know my name, do you?"
"Well..err...yeah. You're Junior Mocker number 634...Right?"
"See! On behalf of the Organization of Religious and Generally Antichristian Scoffers and Mockers, we're holding a sit-in. Altogether everyone...'All we are saying...is give faith a chance...'"
"Oh good grief...I'm getting too old for this sh*t..."

Here's an even better question: What kind of person wastes any length of time on something that they find utterly untrue? For example, would this person start a web site based on the falseness of the Easter Bunny? Would this person ask inane questions concerning the Easter Bunny on Yahoo? How miserable would you say this person's life is to devote even a few minutes to come up with a trite question to thumb their nose at an entity they don't even believe in?
Now THOSE are some good questions.

You cannot prevent the antichrist because he is already in the world. You can repent, ask God to forgive you and turn from your wicked ways. Ask Christ Jesus to come into your heart and change you. Let God know that you want to know Him so you can receive eternal life. Ask for forgiveness of your sins and invite Jesus into your life. I'm praying for you, now.

You have to do what you have to do.
If you scoff or mock that is the way you feel and believe.
There are many who scoff.
So what am I to do shake my finger at you and say you are naughty?
You have to be who you are as I have to be who I am.
Do you know of the big war that is coming? They have to do as they believe also.
