Why not search everything about the subject, religion and its history in particular, rather than blindly basing your life on that assumption and suffering and living in fear? Don't you think its a waste of time?

Also, don't you think its VERY unlikely they exist? And its just a way of controlling people. They cannot(government) control us with FORCE, but they can with MIND control and FEAR.
Even if heaven n hell exist, don't you agree the above makes A LOT MORE SENSE?

i question the religion of christianity's authenticity. easter was a pagan celebration before christianity am i right? christmas was actually a time to worship the sun. the pentagram is the symbol for nature worshipping. why did emporer constantine change all the dates of jesus' birth and death to these dates? because he was afraid? they turn pagans into evil things. why? heck, even halloween isnt even a paganistic 'evil' thing, wen some acuse it of being just that...

In the church congreation I attend there are medical doctors, PhDs, people who hold political office.
These people are addressed by their titles, such as, "Dr. Jones will read the scripture today."
I thought church is a place where our relationship, foremost is that we are brother and sisters in Christ. It seems to me always referring to a person as Dr. puts an emphsis in the wrong place. It also high lights divisions of educated and not educated.
Shouldn't we talk to and about each other as Brother Jones or Sister Jones?

There are two types of lives that you can live ... a life of happiness and a life of meaning ... & you can never have both.

A life of happiness is when you live in the present and forget about your past and '' worry not '' about the future.

A life of meaning is when you look at your past and try to create a better future.

This is a qoute from a scenario ina seriescalled '' Hero '' but personally i could not make up my mind about it yet :)
