I am agnostic. For Christians reading this, do you HONESTLY believe that Noah's Ark happened? Do you also believe that God REALLY created man (and subsequently woman) in the way which the Bible states? All the intricate, biological functions that the human body needs to live - those were created in that manner? Do you ever really consider that your religion is much like your language - something that your parents spoke and those around you spoke when you were growing up - therefore you speak it as well? Do you ever think outside the box and consider that maybe you don't have the right to tell millions of others who believe in something other than you that their religion is the "wrong one"? Why would anyone think that a murderer or child molester would go to heaven because they believe in quite possibly the only religion they've ever been exposed to, and I would go to hell because I cannot, in my heart, live by a book written hundreds of years ago?

God is almighty. Couldn’t he opt to simply save us without Christ dying? Couldn’t God have just said, alright, all be saved who believe in me? Jesus knew he would be alive again. If God knew he was going to raise Christ from the dead, then where did Jesus give up life? I can’t help but miss where he gave up his life. I must believe this to be saved and I’m having a hard time comprehending the reality of it.
I understand the need for the blood and sacrifice to cleanse us, but he actually lost no life in the whole dramatic event.

"How do you see Jesus Christ? As a stern judge who condemns people to suffer forever in hell for unrepented sins and incorrect religious beliefs, or a loving Savior who will do anything necessary to redeem all souls and reunite us with God? Who is the real Jesus Christ? The Bible tells us many things about Jesus and his teachings, but different Christians disagree about what is the overall message of the Gospel.

Jesus Christ said that some people who call themselves "Christian" have never seen him for who he really is -- never seen the real Jesus Christ, never known him in their heart. Surely Jesus meant people who are liberal in their beliefs and practices, right? Wrong! Jesus said, "Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'" (Mat. 7:22-23)." -http://www.christian-universalism.com/index2.htm

Free of Cost to all Americans? Should Physical well being be a class privelege or a basic human right?

Freedom = The absence of necessity, coercion, or constraint in choice or action.
Free Will = Freedom of humans to make choices that are not determined by prior causes or by divine intervention

I wanted to clear this up since alot of people are saying God gave me freedom.

Example:
If god gave you free will then why did he create the comandments? If you cant steal because the comandments said so that is not free will, its obedience. Now you will probably be compelled to say something like,"God wants all of us to steal then, yeah right," but lets just call that reality in everyday life even without faith.

My sources come from Merriam-Webster dictionary and im sorry, but your wrong if you think God gave you freedom. Your right if you say he gave you obedience, then again humans naturaly have freedom, thus proving he does not exist.

I just read Genesis, chapters 1 up to 5. And Its beautiful, each versicle seemed to give something deep to think about. Truthfully, it spoke to my heart as the Bible so often does! Still, i must confess, one of the things the book was saying to me was: "interpret me please! I might have names of real places and stuff but i'm not literal! There's much much more knolowdge you can get for me if you look deeper"

So what are your thoughts? Great book? My english sucks?

When i was at church one day. (This is before i started to read books and learn a thing that Christian call "Satans Teaching" Yes. Science and facts) The preacher said that if you do not take Jesus into your heart you will go to hell.

If 33% of the world religion is Christian. Then does that mean that 67% of the world is going to hell? Wow, That sucks...

Or do you think that Christian thinks that only bad choice that make people sad is when one does not accpet Jesus as their Lord and Savior...

This was inspired by my last question and from one comment.

When I say that I believe that heaven is a wonderful place where we have a perfect understanding... that means that in heaven we do not have a desire to do wrong.

I respect your choice. My choice is to follow Jesus. I trust His promises. I believe in free will. Use it wisely.

Scarcity had not existed since the creation of the world until humankind sinned. God decided that humankind shall no longer enjoy unlimited resources from the Tree of Life and they must face the problem of scarcity and struggle hard for survival from then on. Competition for limited resources among humankind began as the planet's population increased. In a society of competition people are divided into classes and they do their best to get promoted to a higher class, leading to hatred, violent deeds, conflicts and wars. As Karl Marx pointed out in the Communist Manifesto, 'the history of all hitherto existing society is the history of class struggles.'.

Without scarcity (and thus competition) the world would be a perfect place - no sadness, no suffering, no evil, no crimes, no tears. True?

What did Jesus say about competition? Did he approve of it? It seems sharing and socialism are much preferred in the Bible to competition and capitalism (Mark 10.43f, Acts 4.32).

I asked similar question before but no one seemed to know the answer... soooo, I'm asking again.

I am Pagan and my children LOVE to dance. We have 'Circle Round' and really enjoy it but we are looking for a little change.

Are there any kid-like music that is pagan/goddess centered?

You tell us that Christianity is a religion of love, yet everyday Christians tell us that:

"Every day a knee shall bow,a toungue shall confess that Jesus is the LORD!!!!!!!!!!!"

I didn't know a loving god wanted you to bow down to him?

He sounds like an angry one.

I saw a movie years ago when I was little about a teenager who wondered how different his life would have been if he hadn't become a Christian. He was granted to see the difference and his life along with his family and friends had drastically changed for the worst then when he became a Christian.

I would love to know what it is called, but I haven't a clue. If you can help me, I would love to know the title of the movie and who was the main character.
Thanks.
