I asked similar question before but no one seemed to know the answer... soooo, I'm asking again.

I am Pagan and my children LOVE to dance. We have 'Circle Round' and really enjoy it but we are looking for a little change.

Are there any kid-like music that is pagan/goddess centered?

You know, I have the same problem - there aren't a lot of music marketed specifically for pagan children. We also have "Circle Round" (a family favorite), but there are others that are appropriate. My son *loves* Elaine Silver (he's three) and my daughter loves MotherTongue (they have a great Yule cd, along with "Fire Dance"). Mother Tongue is not as lush sounding as Circle Round - it's mostly drumming with singing. A great place to check is Serpentine Music (run by Anne HIll) and you can see the whole catalogue. There's even a link for questions, so you can ask her what she thinks. BTW - if you find anything out, let *me* know! :) Good luck!

Celtic music is often somewhat Pagan. I recommend the groups Gaelic Storm and Clandestine.

I'll recommend two books to you: Wiccacraft for Families by Margie McArthur, and The Family Wicca Book by Ashleen O'Gaea. Both have excellent pagan resources for families with children, and I believe they both have songs in them as well.

I've always liked this song for Pagan kids. It's not Goddess-centered, but it could definitely be seen as referring to the Sun God. :-)

Mister Golden Sun,
Please shine down on me

Oh Mister Sun, Sun,
Mister Golden Sun,
Hiding behind a tree...

These little children
Are asking you
To please come out
So we can play with you

Oh Mister Sun, Sun,
Mister Golden Sun,
Please shine down on me!
