It is not true. they still haven't found the remains. Jesus rose from the dead and that is the truth.

In the book of Acts, Peter is preaching on the streets just a short distance from the tomb and he is telling them that there's the tomb, and it's empty and no one disputed him, because everyone knew it was empty and had heard. So if a tomb has been found and there is a body it couldn't be the body of Jesus, because He had risen and there were plenty of witnesses to that fact. If there is no body in the tomb, that still just proves that He is not there, that He is risen.

People are always making claims like this, but the proof is there. The Jews, who hated Jesus, agreed the tomb was empty (making up excuses as 'the disciples stole the body'), the Roman's could have easily put an end to the Christian cult by going to the tomb and saying 'nope, here he is', and the fact that the apostles themselves died for a risen Christ (if they made it up, they would have never died).

We interviewed those people that claimed to see Jesus's remains on channel 7, but it was a bocus claim. Jesus was gone they admitted when they entered the Tomb. So forget that claim.

Because he didn't rise from the dead. He was just another person spreading his beliefs, like the other people that got crucified. Jesus just got a bigger following, and the whole story of him being a good person got skewed over the ages. If you read stuff carefully, I'm sure everything could be rationally explained anyways.
Even if he did rise, it was spiritually. He supposedly went to heaven after his supposed reincarnation, and most people who perish, leave their bodies behind...so I do believe that the tomb they found was Jesus's tomb. I just don't believe that Jesus was the son of God, and I actually don't believe in God either, so....They could have found his body anyways.

i think the key word here is "claim". actually, the show i saw said they found His ossuary or bone box, not His remains. they "claim" there was some matter in there that had dna. maybe it was a dead mouse that crept in the box. who knows. Jesus rose from dead after 3 days. He walked and talked on earth for 40 days thereafter, and 500 people witnessed this. (not just believers) He is alive this very day and is waiting to return.

What I heard was, Jesus got up after being dead three days, and started walking around like nothing ever happened. Then he rose into the sky and became a god.

Maybe he decided he didn't want to be the only one in heaven with an earthly body, so he sent it to earth to be buried.

Then again, maybe the whole story is a hoax. For one thing, if he rose into the sky, how did he even propel himself?

I will go with the account in the Bible before I would believe anyone saying anything about a tomb with something actually in it.

It would then invalidate the Scriptures and God would never let that happen.

"There are, in fact, many other things also which Jesus did, which, if ever they were written in full detail, I suppose, the world itself could not contain the scrolls written." -John 21:25

The tomb they found was not Jesus the son of God's tomb. Jesus was a common day in biblical times so it was someone elses grave.

to try to put doubt in people's mind. Jesus is not in the tomb- He is risen, He is risen indeed.
A song our choir sang this morning tells it perfectly

"Hope is alive, Jesus is risen, Hope is alive, sin is forgiven, death cannot hold the giver of life, He arose like He said. Hope is alive, run tell the nations, hope is alive there's no condemnation. Death and the grave have been crucified."

Therefore, the grave is empty- HALLELUJAH!!!!!!!!!!
