After all, the moral of the story is "If God would do this to his son, what is he gonna do to YOU?!?!?"

It isn't nice to give your children nightmares.

Biblically and logically what can be said good about Satan?

(I know two undeniable answers; there may be more. We are waiting for guesses.)

I've been thinking about how in Beatle Juice there's a wedding ceremony for dead people. It reminds me of the Mormon belief of sealing dead couples together for eternity. They do it for live people but they also do it for people who are already dead.
It's funny how I see a parrell between that movie and Mormonism.

so god put man on earth to be fruitful and multiply, as he ordered of adam and eve in genesis. why didn't he make the earth much bigger? i mean, the earth doesn't even make up one billionth of the mass of the universe. now, we have all these problems associated with overpopulation, i.e. crime, poverty, starvation. certainly, if he really wanted us to be fruitful and multiply he would have used more of his resources in making the earth a larger part of the universe.

I am a Messianic Jew (or just call me a Christian, whatever) and I am stapped for cash, and my personal belief of receiving Communion everyday is a strong one. I have been receiving it just fine, i just feel i would rather have something more meaning full for the ceremony than what I have been using. Anyone have any idea where I can find a cheap Communion set?

Has anyone ever seen the gate of heaven… Not as described as to be the Rapture… But I’m asking if anyone has seen a doorway or portal to the other side?

I have to write a paper on Hinduism, but I'm not sure where to start. We have to use the historical development of Hinduism, it's beliefs/tenets, and it's reaction to internal/external influences to support a thesis that it's either an organised religion dependant on social construct or a philosophical school of thought. I'm trying to argue that it's an organized religion, but I don't know what evidence to use under the three categories above to support my thesis. I know that my question may not make a lot of sence, so if you have any questions just e-mail me.

Or was the time for Easter just picked randomly (or to coincide with a Pagan holiday), like Christmas? Is there anything in the bible, or archaeological/historical record, that points to it happening around this time?

This personal experience happened to me. Here is my story.

On July 24, 2002, my maternal grandmother, Ann, passed away into the eternal light of God. She died as she had lived -- peaceful, loving and with much care of others. "Nana", as we all called her, was a sincere example of love, forgiveness and divine purity. For she was an ancient soul, living out the last of her incarnations on this Earth. Ancient souls seldom return to Earth. Their journey -- and destination -- is the eternal celestial framework of God.

Nana returned, one last time, on the evening of her passing (July 24). As my ex-fiance was talking on the telephone, I stepped outside and saw an extraordinary sight! An extremely large dog -- pure white, most likely an Alaskan Malamute/Nordic Wolf hybrid -- stood majestically beside some rocks, green grass and a small wooden fence.

It reared up slightly and looked at me, as if noticing my presence with a faint smile.
