I have no interest in trying to "prove God" to you or anyone else. All I can do is tell you that truth. If you refuse to accept that there is nothing I can do but pray from you. Faith is the foundation of our Christian faith. Blessed are those that believe yet have not seen.

Alright, lets get real here OK? if we could prove it to you we would! We cannot say "Here is God.",God here is your, child scrapegoat." Nor can you for that matter say "Look see here is prove there is no God!" You cannot prove that he does not exist can you?. Many years ago a group called 'The Letter men' recorded a song that had words like this " Every time hear a newborn baby cry or see a leaf, OR touch the sky.... then I know why I believe." We look around at nature and we see God. This is Spring and in many places around the world things are coming back to life! Trees are budding, flowers are blooming the grass has returned to it's beautiful shade of green, birds are chirping. The sun is warm..........I can look out my window and see deer running, I see squirrels, rabbits, ducks swimming in the pond..Oh! I know for a negative minded person this is no reason to believe but to us it is! I don't know how one can look at all of the wonderful things and say "There is no God" So when you can say here there is positive proof there is no God kindly leave us alone and go on you way! Our beliefs are not hurting you! We do not need enlightening.I hope it's okay to wish you a good day because I do.

Look in the mirror. Do you see yourself? You would never be here without God. That is PROOF. Further, we care for you to come to know the truth, but we do not have to prove anything to you... we gain nothing from that. If you would really like to challenge yourself to find that God is indeed a fact, I ask you to say this prayer right now.... "God, I am having trouble believing that you are real. I am a doubting thomas. I need to see a sign from you that you are in fact, real."
While you are doing that, I will keep you lifted up in prayer to allow the Holy Spirit into your heart so that He may make His presence known to you. Enter this with an open mind, and an open heart, and you will see the facts. Have faith. The fact that you asked this question, points to the fact that you ARE interested....all it takes is faith the size of mustard seed. Amen.

Can you prove that God is fiction and not fact?

To those of us who have opened our hearts and minds to him he is as real as anything that you can see or touch.

You can believe as you wish that is your choice to make. However the teachings of my Lord say that I should tell the people I meet about him so that they can make their decision.

Obviously you have made your decision but let me ask this question of you, If you saw a blind man rushing toward a precipice would you try to turn him around or convince him not to continue in the direction he is headed?

To a Christian you are that blind man.

I mean no offense by what I have said. I only hope that you will understand that we feel that what we are doing is what we are told to do and in your best interest.

What if we are right and you are wrong?

I'll be praying for you.

Yes, but if you truly intend to show interest, then maybe you are hopeful there is a God. Maybe instead of just waiting for Christians to prove what we already believe (which we should be doing), you should actively search for it as well. I hope when you get the fact that makes you believe, that it won't be too late. Can you prove He doesn't exist? I hope when you find Him, you are filled with so much love and joy for Him that you will have to put all your trust in Him. Ask, and you shall receive; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. I hope you know what you just asked for and are prepared for what's to come because I'm going to pray for you. (=

It is reasonable to examine the evidence of Jesus Christ. Historically and archaeologically, even secular historians believe that Luke was one of the most accurate historians of his time. So yes, take a look at the evidence and come to a decision. Just go to the British Library and the British Museum and ask to go on a Biblical tour. Most theories that contradicted the Biblical account of events have been found to be inaccurate, and it seems that the Jews did a very good job keeping records, as did the writers of the New Testament.

It is not reasonable to expect Christians to prove God to you.

It is however, reasonable to ask God himself to show you that He is real. If Jesus Christ is really who he claims to be, and if God is really as powerful as Christians say that He is, then I'm sure that God can prove Himself to you.

A rational argument for GOD can definitely be advanced, but, that will not necessarily convict a person who's intent is bent on disapproving the facts. I can't begin to express all the reasons i believe, but i included a useful link.
The "Handbook of Christian Apologetics" by Kreeft and Tacelli could be a useful resource in helping you have a different view.

"For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse." (Romans 1:20)

This is all the proof that God is going to provide you, scapegoat, so that you will believe that He is real.

Doubting Thomas demanded proof that Jesus had indeed risen from the dead by blurting out, "Unless I see the nail prints in his hands and feet, I will not believe!" Not until Jesus stood in front of Thomas and gave him the offer of thrusting his fingers through his wounds did Thomas cry out, "My Lord and my God!" Then Jesus said one of the most encouraging statements in Scripture as found in John 20:29, "Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."

God honors faith, not sight. Do not harden your heart!

On a side note, I couldn't help but think of Jesus Christ when I saw your Y! A nickname. Jesus was the scapegoat who took my sins when he was crucified; he took the punishment that I deserved. And yet he rose from death on the third day.

Have a great evening!

God is around you. I probably would not have ever had a change to have the personal relationship if I did not seek Him personally and I waited others to prove Him to me.

I understand you point of view. I have been there. It is that God is calling us to change our mind the way that it produces the change of life. And change is hard.

And you do not believe how hard I fall sometimes. He is there to talk to me when I am sad and saying to me " Paula, get up. You are not a failure if you fall down, you are a failure if you stay down. " There is this hope in Him that I have not found anywhere else. There is His love, the kind that I have never experienced before. If I have ever loved something here, I cannot compare that to the love I have in Him.

It is His promise, that when you seek Him with pure heart, you will find Him. He is calling you to change, and change is hard. But you can do everything in Him who strenghtens you. : )

Unfortunately, you will never obtain the answers you seek from imperfect humans. You are basically asking earthly man to appease your curiosity and save your soul.

If you want to know of God, you must humble your heart, meditate on the Word of god, and draw near to God in prayer. Only then, will the Lord provide the answers you seek.

If you choose not to do these things, which is the Gift of Free will...one thing is certain...you will surely have proved yourself correct when saying: No Christian was able to convince you that God is Fact and not Fiction.

If you are seeking validation of the above fact, let me be the first to say, we are in agreement!! You are 100% correct!!

A man who asks others to prove the existence of God, is a double minded man who is seeking truth, but has a hardened heart due to spiritual stubbornness. Many Christians, myself included, have been where you are now.

I pray you will also choose wisely and open your heart.

James 4:8 says: Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.:)

Blessings, Miji
