It's not about what you do,It is believing, having faith in Him,and accepting Him as your one and only God.You should convert into a Jew or Christian,If you want to be saved.I'm not forcing you to choose those religions,I'm just saying. If you want to choose another,I'm fine with that.

P.S.You have a chance of going to hell because you are an Atheist.

There is no hell.

"And they have built the high places of To′pheth, which is in the valley of the son of Hin′nom, in order to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire, a thing that I had not commanded and that had not come up into my heart"
-Jeremiah 7:31

Notice that the people doing the roasting and toasting here are humans and God shows his attitude toward this practice and he does not change. (see Malichi 3:6; Isaiah 43:10; Isaiah 46:4; James 1:17)

If and when you die you will either be in God's memory for the resurrection or .............well, not. In other words this will be the only life you live.

If you don't die and live into God's new world then you will have time to get with the program before the test after the 1000 years of Christ Reign.

If you are not learning about what God's Kingdom will accomplish in the future you should seriously look into a Bible study group that does. Matthew 6:9-10 means more than a childhood prayer that is recited by rote.

Be glad to send you more info on the Bible "hell" if you like.

You only go to "hell" if you believe it exists and if you believe you deserve to go there. You aren't an atheist if you believe God exists and if you talk to him. An atheist is someone who denies the existence of a deity or of divine beings. An agnostic is someone who believes it impossible to know anything about God or about the creation of the universe and refrains from commitment to any religious doctrine. A skeptic doubts and is critical of all accepted doctrines and creeds.
You should talk to your parents about their beliefs, and then I'd suggest that you read some books about what different religions believe to give yourself some knowledge and things to think about. You could also go to some different churches and see what they're like and what they believe. I'm sure you can find something that resonates with your heart and mind. Don't give up on yourself or be too hard on yourself. No matter what WE believe, God is always there for us, and will always love us, because we are his children.

How can you claim to be an atheist but still pray to God? Atheism is the belief that God does not exist..

Besides, it's not about how 'religious' you are or how many crosses you hang...

The only thing that can save is Jesus' incredible love and grace. If you realize that he died for you and paid the ultimate price for all of humanity because of his love for each of us, then that is the only thing that matters. The Bible makes it clear that it doesn't matter how many nice things you do or how religious you are... the only way to get to Heaven is by having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. If you believe in God and acknowledge that Jesus died on the cross for us all, I don't see how you could call yourself an atheist?

no! not a fiery hell ,it does not exist!hell is in fact just an other word for Haida's or Sheol which is the common grave of man ,that hell everyone is going to,sorry! well at lease for now until god brings his government upon the earth Matthew 6:9.but to burn eternity with out end is not for you or anyone sweat heart ,don't listen to there lies, there full of it.god is love and he loves you.he will not punch people in such a manor,it is UN thinkable of god to do such a thing.
Satan the devil spreads the lie to keep people Holden on to false beliefs.he loves to drive fear into people .he doesn't wont you to no the truth, and truth will set you free the bible says, well this is the truth about Satan ,he uses to be a good angle in heaven that rebelled against god an he was no long invited to stay in heaven ,so god threw him out an down to the earth ,but before god did this Satan convinced many other angle to join him in his rebelling,so many angle bad one are on the earth today in the spirit bodies they have ,Satan accusation was that he said mankind can rule with out gods help successfully and they don't need god for nothing ,and he also said he wont's person to worship him,he says why should god that created all thing get all glory and worship.it say in the Bible that 1 3rd of the angles were thrown to the earth, that a lot of bad angles down here to bother humans an confuse them.

Absolutely not. Talking to God and believing in Him is all you need. You're doing the right thing. If your Nana is still around, why don't you ask her about it? Ask your Nana why she had the cross and what it meant to her. Ask her why she wanted you to have it. You might be surprised with her answers and she might comfort you and tell you more you need to know about God and other things you never thought to ask. You might learn things you never knew that you never knew. Ask your Nana about her life and history and how things were when she was young. She might be a Christian in secret and she may have had you baptized without your parents knowing. I recommend talking to your Nana or talking to a priest or pastor from a well-known denomination. Don't get involved in a cult.

Well first of all, if you talk with God, then you are not an atheist...you sound more agnostic.

Secondly, no unless you put yourself in Hell, why would an all loving and forgiving God put you there?

People won't like my answer but just trust me when I tell you that you are being too hard on yourself.

"Not all who wander are lost." I don't know who said this but it's something to think about.

Wander and search and learn. Find what makes you feel right and go with it.

There is no one way to God. Those who buy into that rhetoric are simply too afraid to accept that there is chance that they may not be right.

You will be fine.

Only God can judge you. Not anyone one this forum. I also think that if you talk to him that you already have established a relationship with him. God did not come to save the righteous but the unjust, the sinners, the unbelievers. Pray and ask for forgiveness. In the end every knee shall bow and every tongue will confess.

If this is the situation then you are no atheist, from the sound of your question, you are thinking of searching for god, Keep this in mind, if this is true and you are sincere, then He will allow Himself to be found by you. He may come from a source you totally unexpect.

First of all, you're not an atheist if you talk to God. And personally, I believe, if there is a God, he loves us too much to send any of us to a place as bad as hell. I think hell is nothing but a human...image...created to frighten people into doing things.

If you r an atheist how can u celebrate Christmas. Christmas symbolizes the birth of Christ but then again maybe u juss do the gift giving part of it. But look @ it like this if u don't have GOD first in ur life and obey his word which can b found in the bible, u may be headed down the path of destruction come judgment day.
