so god put man on earth to be fruitful and multiply, as he ordered of adam and eve in genesis. why didn't he make the earth much bigger? i mean, the earth doesn't even make up one billionth of the mass of the universe. now, we have all these problems associated with overpopulation, i.e. crime, poverty, starvation. certainly, if he really wanted us to be fruitful and multiply he would have used more of his resources in making the earth a larger part of the universe.

Good point. And if he wanted it to be the center of universe, wouldn't it be?

"The law of conservation of energy states that energy cannot be created or destroyed" God is not wasteful, hes simply recycling. He purged the garden of Adam and Eve, and some day, the garden of Earth shall be purged. This line of thinking is similar to a wall in your home, one or two pictures. Would you cover EVERY inch with a picture? The wall is not wasted. It is balanced, imho the void is as important to God as the particle.

Don't worry too much. We started with 2 screwed up and had to start over and now we got 7 billion or so and still got room. Like I said , don't worry God has a plan and it is going to turn out ok. I cheated and read the end of the book.

Yeah we may be the only form of life in this solar system, but man at night when I look into the sky there are thousand upon thousands of star we can never be sure that we are the only ones to exist in this universe when there are some many stars we have yet to discover.

Wastefulness was inevitable once God decided to create the physical universe maze to run his souls through. I mean, he knew the final outcome before starting Creation, so why not just create the end result and skip the unneeded preliminaries; life and the rest of non-spiritual reality?

If the earth were bigger than this, (Even the size of Jupiter, let's say) then it wouldn't work out with science. It can't be any bigger than this because of the gravitational pull, we would weigh so much, too much for life to occur.

if you really think about it, it's all in his plan. we were not meant to have life forever on earth but everlasting life in heaven. earth is just a temporary state that will eventually be wasted away

Those problems you cite are not from God, but rom Satan. This earth is plenty big enough to support us, but due to greed, power hungry dictators, and overall evil, these problems exits. they can not and should not be attributed to God.

I agree that if man's sinfulness had not colored all of history that we would not have problems of this nature.
God is not wasteful. He makes us deal with the consequences of our sinfulness.
