PEOPLE SEEM TO BLAME GOD FOR EVERYTHING THAT GOES WRONG.

Without freedom of choice, love is meaningless. God is neither a cosmic rapist who forces his love on people, nor a cosmic puppeteer who forces people to love him. Instead, God, the personification of love, grants us the freedom of choice. Without such freedom, we would be little more than preprogrammed robots.

To start I know that nobody can speak for all Christians and that there are many different views, and if I say anything incorrect here please feel free to correct me. I'm learning. :o)

I am a writer and I have a number of characters of my own creation that... if you like... live inside my head. You might think i'm insane if I explain this incorrectly...
My main character sometimes acts as another identity to me. In my head, I twist the events of my everyday life to happen in my character's everyday life and live it through them. Perhaps for inspiration, perhaps just to see it from another p.o.v I don't know. It seems to be autonomous and I find myself doing it all the time (even as I type now xD)
Also I roleplay my characters often. Very often, as in every day.
I believe it is God who gave me the ability to imagine. I am not hurting or taking anything from anyone, Its just fantasy. But is it disrespectful to God to try and be someone i'm not? "Thou shall not covet"?
Thanks

Or did Man partake of the Fruit with his eyes open, while woman was deceived into eating it?

What I'm asking is, does man blame woman for all his problems?

The New Testament contains at least five different mythical types or conceptions of Jesus Christ: 1. The Messiah of the synoptics, omitting the opening chapters of Matthew and Luke. 2. The Son of God, or demi-god, introduced in these opening chapters. 3. The incarnate Logos or God of John. 4. The Christ of Paul. 5. Eliminating these more or less supernatural types, there remains in these writings, in addition to the purely natural and purely human Jesus of Nazareth, a type known as the Ideal or Perfect Man.

He commends as wise and prudent the action of the steward, who, to provide for his future welfare, causes his master's creditors to defraud him. "There was a certain rich man, which had a steward; and the same was accused unto him that he had wasted his goods. And he called him, and said unto him, How is it that I hear this of thee? give an account of thy stewardship; for thou mayest be no longer steward. Then the steward said within himself, What shall I do? for my lord taketh away from me the stewardship: I cannot dig; to beg I am ashamed. I am resolved what to do, that, when I am put out of the stewardship, they may receive me into their houses. So he called every one of his lord's debtors unto him, and said unto the first, How much owest thou unto my lord? And he said, An hundred measures of oil. And he said unto him, Take thy bill and sit down quickly, and write fifty. Then said he unto another, And how much owest t

We were friends since age 5 and grew up together, he is in alomst every photograph I have. We were very close.

Now I am not going to say that he was perfect, or that our relationship was faultless, just because he has died, but he was a great friend and will be sadly missed (he was killed in a car crash on Friday).

We were saving up to do a road trip of the USA in the summer, and I now have £1000 that I want to give away. I would like to give it to a charity as a memorial to my friend that serves a practical purpose.

The only thing he ever voiced an opinion on (re: charity) was that he hated to see cats homeless or mistreated (he himself kept over a dozen strays at his farm); this is because he had fond memories of his mother giving him a kitten when he was very small.

Would it be fitting to give my money to the Cat Protection League (UK) do you think, or a charity that I relate to myself?

Thank you.

What did he say would be the fate of those who took up the sword?

"They that take the sword shall perish with the sword" (Matthew xxvi, 52).

He evidently considered this commendable, for he immediately issued the following command to his disciples:

"He that hath no sword let him sell his garments and buy one" (Luke xxii, 36).

the world is heros, naties and nicies

ie sheep, wolves and sheepdog types.

And a sheep dog who abuses sheep under the guise of protection is really a wolf.

Reminds me of diplomatic immunity were you can grab a 6 year old girl in the middle of the street, rape her screaming and if anyone interfears shout

I have diplomatic immunity you cant touch me... or its my tradtion, culture or relgion.

Likewise family values & morality is often used to excuse abuse and sexisim/homophobia

why?

It a tough question, and one, no doubt nonislamic countries must at least be pondering. Here's the only way I can think of Kwithout using Islamic doctrines and controls) --

Lobotomies followed with a conditioning regime that made the subject associate sexual pleasure (like virgin "carrot") with detonation.

Islamic brainwashing sytems are cheaper of course, but this requires imposing a killjoy religious theocracy on the whole of society...separating woman from men...ending freedom of speech along with all other freedoms....

companions of the apostles of Christ. If this claim be true the other writings of the apostles, the writings of the Apostolic Fathers, and the writings of the early Christian Fathers, ought to contain some evidences of the fact.

Twenty books -- nearly all of the remaining books of the New Testament -- are said to have been written by the three apostles, Peter, John, and Paul, a portion of them after the first three Gospels were written; but it is admitted that they contain no evidence whatever of the existence of these Gospels.
Why so ?

"Now, there was about this time Jesus, a wise man, if it be lawful to call him a man, for he was a doer of wonderful works; a teacher of such men as receive the truth with pleasure. He drew over to him both many of the Jews, and many of the Gentiles. He was [the] Christ; and when Pilate, at the suggestion of the principal men amongst us, had condemned him to the cross, those that loved him at the first did not forsake him; for he appeared to them alive again the third day, as the divine prophets had foretold these and ten thousand other wonderful things concerning him; and the tribe of Christians, so named from him, are not extinct at this day" (Book XVIII, Chap. iii, sec. 3).

Where did he appear to his disciples?

Matthew: In Galilee.

Luke: In Jerusalem.

Matthew says that when Mary Magdalene and the other Mary visited the tomb an angel appeared to them and said: "Go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him" (xxviii, 7). As they ran to convey this intelligence, Jesus himself met them and repeated the command: "Go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me" (10). "Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them. And when they saw him they worshiped him" (16, 17).

Luke (xxiv, 13-35) states that on the day of the resurrection Jesus journeyed to Emmaus, a village some distance from Jerusalem, with Cleopas and his companion. They did not recognize him until after their arrival there, when they returned at once to Jerusalem and informed the disciples. "As they thus spake Jesus himself stood in

..... why did these christians openly defy Him by breaking away from the catholic church. Didn't Jesus say: "And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." So, it would seem that most christians do not belong to the true and original church that Jesus Himself established. Would it make these christians counterfeit as opposed to the true followers of Jesus which is the catholic church. After all Jesus did give explicit instructions and Jesus is perfect.
