Spake is past tense of speak
seen is past participle of see

In Exo 33:11 - The Lord spake to Moses, face to face as man speaks to his friend.
Did Moses saw God when He was
speaking to Moses?

In Exo 33:20- And he said, Thou can not see my face, for
there shall no man see me and live..
It was informed by God that nobody could see
him because if a man could see Him(God) the
man will die.

It is very clear that Moses have not seen God when they were speaking face to face or speaking together.
as quoted in Exo 33:11.

There is big difference between the word speak and see
or spake and seen or spake and saw.

The Lord of the Old Testament was Christ. He was also called the Word and many other names in the Old Testament.

God the Father can not be look upon by man and the man Live as: (Ex. 33:20)"And he said, Thou can not see my face; for there shall no man see me and live."

1 Corinthians 2:14 - But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Moses saw God as a burning bush.
God comes as a cloud, wind, and whatever He chooses to come as.

Very few has seen God but not his face, God's glory is to strong. You'll will become to weak the longer you try to see him if you were in front of him.

Remember now God has unlimited power and Wisdom.

If you would like to see what God looks like, take a look at his son face Jesus.
Perhaps Jesus is God in body form.

The Christian God?
No.
And there would be two reasons for that; one the example given above, or the more plausible, being that the Christian God does not exist.
Outside of the very sheltered enclave of Christianity, you will find masses of people who can see their Gods, and have happy and healthy relationships with them.
I think that has a lot to do with the bulk of humanity not living in fear of their Gods, but loving them.
What kind of God would cause you to cease to exist if you looked upon them?
Very wierd.

God has created humans as everyone agree in all religions.
When God appeared before Moses, he was not able to see the Almighty as he is not given that power by the creator.
whereas we can FEEL that the creator is present in all living things in this universe by our sixth sense.

do you see superstition? think about what the true essence of communication is that has transpired from the early moralist proclaiming his imaginary god for the influence of good to the present day moralist who reason goodness with the contrived influence of an imaginary deity full of uneeded threats and false rewards . we should not lower our love to the level of Pavlovian dogs. the means the end and the motive are all very important .

For one to actually see God they would be consumed, because He is an all-consuming fire. But I also feel we see Him in the beauty of the nature around us, the colors of the flowers, and a tiny baby's hands.

Yes... He can be seen.... But, if you are not pure, you can perish at the sight......

Ever look at the sun and get that deafening blindness because of its brilliance...... Imagine that upclose and personal!!!!!

It is the opposite of that darkness that is so void that can engulf light and swallow it whole...... This brightness is so bright, that it can obliterate anything in its way......

So too is God to one who is not pure in heart.....

Flesh cannot look upon God and live. Jesus said if you have seen him (Jesus) you have seen God. Jesus was God in the flesh.
