PEOPLE SEEM TO BLAME GOD FOR EVERYTHING THAT GOES WRONG.

Without freedom of choice, love is meaningless. God is neither a cosmic rapist who forces his love on people, nor a cosmic puppeteer who forces people to love him. Instead, God, the personification of love, grants us the freedom of choice. Without such freedom, we would be little more than preprogrammed robots.

If you had the power to create life, would you create it just to have something to play with, or would you create it and leave it to its own devices?

Let's take a more realistic approach. Would you control the life of your son so as to ensure that nothing bad ever happens to him? Would you ensure that he takes no risks in his life, or would you give him guidance, hope he makes the right decisions, and let him learn from his mistakes?

I am sure there are those that would perform the latter. Perhaps God takes the same approach. He has given us guidance, told us what is right and wrong (just as a parent tells their child), and leaves us to our own devices; to choose for our own and to learn from our mistakes.

Just as a parent may tell a child that it is wrong to swear, punish them for swearing, but not force a child not to swear, God may do the same. He tells us what to do, punishes us for not obeying, but does not force us not to act in a way that opposes his word.

A lack of action does not prove a lack of caring.

It is a great excuse for avoiding responsibility in an action. If someone cannot get away with "the devil made me do it" or "it's all God's fault!" is passing the blame. They are avoiding dealing with the problem.

We have freedom of choice of course. That is why it is almost impossible to have an accurate eye to the future. You might have a plan devised, but with every moment that passes, someone else somewhere might excercise their free will and things take on an aspect you might never have considered. We all LIKE TO THINK WE HAVE FREE WILL.

We are not free however. No matter how you look at it, in today's society no one is free. Or precious few. All of us have debts and obligations to meet. Many people today are somnolent robots who live their lives in an unthinking fashion. They obey the rules of their masters.

This way, also, if they have to do something wrong, they can say, "I was just following orders."

The thing is, in life, Feces happens. There is no getting around it. There is only so much we are truly in control of and other things can effect, therefore exercise some control, on our actions. We do not ask for certain disasters but they come anyhow. But for day to day events, we are responsible.

I think this is the point you are making is it not? Do you realize how close you are to losing all of your freedoms in the very foreseeable future? Do you see how America is being turned into just such a people? This is the future that the New World Order have for their slaves, the humanity they despise but need for common labour and wealth.

I must make another point. Everyone today is discussing conspiracy theories, politics and the situation in the world today with all its dismal possibilities. There are people out trying to spread the word of the evils that challenge us. We see these evils every day in the form of wars and disease.

There is a group of international elite manipulating and creating these situations, controlling the strings of our lives. They move countries and governments around playing chess with millions of lives as they work their dark and evil ways of greed. They twist mankind's thinking once again as they shape him to kill and go towards WW3.

If people listened to the words of those who warn, the brave whistleblowers, and try to stop these things, perhaps we could make a difference. But instead, many remain programmed to be indifferent and let things play out. They are then often "surprised" when things go wrong. But, by their ignoring the signs, they are guilty by apathy and complicity. This is group karma and this is why the truly awful things happen to so many of us.

Unfortunately the Illuminati have programmed them all so deeply that they cannot see the truth of things. The events just don't work for them. Deprogramming is made one mind at a time by those who care.

The human RACE needs to take responsibility for its actions and stop blaming our God for them. Then perhaps we have hope.

How refreshing to hear people talk sensibly
about the things they know about
as opposed to those who talk
about things they know nothing about...
It's strange how the mouth is moving,
the fingers are going but there is no one home!
How difficult can it be to understand the meaning of wisdom?
To understand that He knows what he is doing
and had to do it just so...
How can you possibly make them see
all they can never see in one question and answer?
Unless they are touched by God's spirit
and allow it to stick around
longer than they take to repel it
with stupidity of the evil one,
I don't want to be around these people
when they realize how stupid they had been
to refuse his love!
Just as in the days of Noah, so it will be...
He, who endures 'till the end, remember???
Isn't it funny how ridiculers of the true God
do and say exactly what He said they would
in the last days?!?!?!
Doesn't it give you even more hope
and increase your faith in a God
that knows from the beginning the Finale?
A God who will erase every tear from our eyes,
every pain of the heart will never ever bother you
or anyone else again...
It's his promise and he just can't lie.
So your faith is well-founded
and you a great thing to defend it
and the one who provides it in abundance
to all his good-hearted ones...
Thank you!

Because when bad things happen it's easier to blame something / someone other than yourself. Even if it really wasn't your fault, it's most likely the fault of another human being. Take for example if someone said,"Why's god letting my marriage fall apart," the truth is, it's not god that's doing it. People have falling out. People fall out of love, people decide to cheat on their spouse, or a number of different reasons. It's the evil that men do, my friend. The evil that men do lives on and on.

I think it is quite normal for people to react that way. I know of some people who actually became agnostic because of what happened to them which they felt they did not deserve. Suffering is a mystery.

Every trial and suffering has a message for us.

Sometimes God allows us to suffer in order to bring something good from it. The suffering and death of Jesus gave humanity a reason to hope and to believe in the resurrection. Christianity would not be what it is now were it not for its martyrs. The holocaust opened the eyes of the world to the evils of Nazism and racism. It also enabled the Jewish people to return to their homeland.

Buddhists have a nice way of explaining the mystery. It is basically the same as the Christian teaching on dying to ourselves: "to live is to suffer, to suffer is caused by desire, to transcend desire is the middle way, the middle way leads to nirvana." That sounds like spiritual euthanasia. Jesus Christ and the great saints of the Church took the teaching one step further. They said to end suffering one must not only learn how to control desires. One must also learn how to love unselfishly because love heals, nourishes and redeems us. What St. Paul said is true. Love conquers all things.

Peace and every blessing!

Well said. I believe our purpose in life can be understood by going back to the beginning. God and mankind had a loving relationship and walked together in paradise. Without the ability to choose, this would be impossible.

And in a world where God's love and laws are rejected, why are we surprised when bad things happen?

I believe it's human nature to shake a fist at God when bad things happen...I have been guilty of doing this...isn't it a miracle that God takes this angry fist and gently opens it up and holds on till the storm is over

This freedom of which you speak assumes you live by his rulebook. That's just another deceptive statement for the pile. You go to hell if you don't do what he says. Hell was created by him, or hell is something he will allow to happen or bring upon us after judgment day. Therefore, he will murder most people including friends and family. In our society if you don't do something to help a dying person or someone in danger you will be held accountable- and for good reason. That is logical and rational. With "god" it is not really freedom of choice. I don't buy into the guilty by association thing either. We did not ask to be created, and we did not crucify him. He did not give us a choice of whether to take a chance on life and brutal death before adding us to this planet. Into the game he created for his amusement.

To answer your question, when horrible things happen to good people, like starvation, rape, murder, torture..."god" (supposing he's even the one most think he is) seems to be doing nothing. He certainly could stop it since he created us and has that power. He has that power, but chooses not to help. Forget the object lessons they claim he's teaching us when our skin is melted off and eyes ripped out and heads are chopped off... we seem to be alone in this world, but I never lose hope that there's a savior somewhere in the universe.

So a recap:
- No freedom of choice because both his options suck and were generated by him. A: live with me, the murderer of your children, other family and friends. B: burn in a hell that keeps you alive to suffer that he custom made for your maximum displeasure.
- Bad things happen to good people because he lets it happen. I didn't ask for life or object lessons for his amusement or to build character. I'm not a rotten person and I don't need to build character by watching my mother being gang raped and then murdered before my eyes. I would rather have never existed if the popular teachings are all true.
