Where did he appear to his disciples?

Matthew: In Galilee.

Luke: In Jerusalem.

Matthew says that when Mary Magdalene and the other Mary visited the tomb an angel appeared to them and said: "Go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him" (xxviii, 7). As they ran to convey this intelligence, Jesus himself met them and repeated the command: "Go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me" (10). "Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them. And when they saw him they worshiped him" (16, 17).

Luke (xxiv, 13-35) states that on the day of the resurrection Jesus journeyed to Emmaus, a village some distance from Jerusalem, with Cleopas and his companion. They did not recognize him until after their arrival there, when they returned at once to Jerusalem and informed the disciples. "As they thus spake Jesus himself stood in

The Bible is like wikipedia: Everybody can edit it, but only the "good" ones make it in.

The reason they didn't recognize him
is that he was given a different body
(Probably so that he could walk the earth
in peace after the resurrection... )
I always thought that God himself got rid of his body
in the manner he got rid of Moses' body...
so that the "crazies" of the day wouldn't tear it to peices
(you know how they can get!)
That's why they didn't recognize him
until he began to speak and then, they new...
Easy to understand;
people even recognize my writting style
who never even met me!!! You get the picture?
Where you see discrepancies
such as what you mentioned,
the reason is quite simple...
and far from making any one of them a liar,
different yes! but not liars,

it only means that this is what they experienced
and not all of them wrote about the very same event,
even if they were similar...

For instance Jesus didn't just appear in Jerusalem,
but also in Galilee and to a crowd of 500
and to his mother and to Mary
and possibly even to his other friends...
Mary, Martha and Lazarus
but it is written that if we were to write all of what he did,
the whole planet wouldn't be enough to contain all of it...

For the sake that not all disciples
wrote the exact same thing
is no reason to dismiss any of what they said...

Pick up a book for instance and place it between you
and another person, how will you both describe it?
You will see and describe the title and so on
of the front of the book cover
whereas your friend will be seeing the other side...
It was somewhat like that! for the disciples...

Even when they were witnessing the same thing,
depending on their own perception,
back-ground and individual styles, etc.,
this is how they would report it...

Luke was a physician so he had this rather scientific style,
more to the point...
John was the one Jesus had more affection for
and this could be the reason he wrote
about love so much... and so on...
Just details is what these were...
as what is more important to remember
is that God and his son loved us,
always did and always will.

What they (men) did in the name of religion,
stinks, always did, always will...
until God himself steps in with Jesus
and his army of angels
and cleans up the rotten mess once and for all.
Then, none of these arguments will much matter...
Will they?

Not really sure what you question is, Jesus appeared a number of different times to different people so what is the issue.

1 Cor 15:4 and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, 5 and that He appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. 6 After that He appeared to more than five hundred brethren at one time, most of whom remain until now, but some have fallen asleep; 7 then He appeared to James, then to all the apostles; 8 and last of all, as to one untimely born, He appeared to me also.

I don't understand. Is it the resurrection that you are wondering about, or the occurances afterward? You question does not align what you statements afterward.

yeah Jesus was a zombie. He died and was reanimated, so in fact he was an undead.
