I am at a crossroads and I really think I know the answer that God is giving me, but I want to hear from other believers. In Romans 3:7-8 it states that we are not to use falsehood in order to further God's kingdom and God's glory. The ministry that I am involved with does not outwardly lie, but uses a "re-direct" approach to get clients- which to me is actually lying, since we do not answer their direct questions. What are your thoughts? thanks in advance for serious answers. I truly want wisdom in my situation. I think I need to make a choice here between Christ and the world, and I need some support. God Bless.

And sooner than most people think.

I guess we have to take it as it comes..... Some learning usually comes from negative experiences. But would it be to late for some? or would they have seven years of pain to make up their minds?

In any event .......... Happy Easter ~!~

Consider the following words of Jesus Christ:

John 8:24 (New American Standard Bible)

24"Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am He, you will die in your sins."

Please read the following view of a person who believes that the answer to my question is "Yes":

"I don't think that a person can repudiate the deity of Christ and call themselves a Christian because I think that the notion of the deity of Christ--God becoming man, God in three persons, one essence--is an essential defining doctrine of the faith. In other words, if you reject an essential or defining doctrine then you cannot call yourself by the title that is defined by these doctrines."

OK i not sure which part of my previous question was against policy. i can see how some could have taken offense to it. as my sarcastic remarks are angry. my apologies. i am spiritual, not religious. i am sick of Christianity. off all the major religions. i feel those belief systems can and have been used to control. when the overall message from every religion is be good to others.

but seriously i don't want to talk to these people about Jesus. what do i have to say to make them leave me alone? i tell them i am not interested. Why would they continue to come back?

A school bus full of kids crashes and all but one child is killed. The parents of the child that was not killed said "thank God my child was not killed" does that mean God didn't care about the other kids?

I would totally go to communion if they had chocolate Jesus and not those stupid wafers. Maybe he wouldn't have to be naked like that sculpture, but it's a good idea, don't you think?

On this day that Jesus rose
Bringing us all fish and loaves
We go to chruch to worship deep
The loving spirit he did reap
For all of us, not just the one
His Work Here is never done.

Some celebrate with eggs and treats
The rituals of Pagan's teats
And to them all our God shall say,
"You shouldn't have done this" Judgement Day.

Others pracitse solemnity
And worship rightly on one knee
The coming of our Saviour Christ
With love and honor, not with vice

For them there shall be paradise
With fruits and bread and lots of rice
Remember not to commit the Seven
And the Lord will welcome you to Heaven!

:) I read this to my daughters and they have each made a copy for themselves and put it in their rooms. I get a lot of flack for not giving my children candy on Easter but they konw the Truth and will be there when St,. Peter opens the gates after the Rapture. They enjoyed the craft of making their own frames for the poem and memerizing it to recite at church. Thanks!

I've seen it before. A couple attracted to each other. One is a christian and the other is not and has no clue about it. It never fails, they start out so well but then, they're differences in Faith ware them out and they eventually have problems unless one of them converts. The sad part is, when it is the woman who is a christian and the guy is a non believer in Christ, it usually ends up with her suffering the set back. You can always bring some on down but they can't get you up to their level. So, what exactly are the MAJOR pit fall issues related to dating and possibly marrying an unbeliever. I can think of quite a few as this had happened in my own family in extended realatives.
Me personally, I am waiting for that ONE faithful true "daughtor of Zion", The one God has for me! I am waiting exclusivly for ONLY her! Even though I have no idea who she is yet.

Missionary dating for me is a none issue, It aint happen to this old boy! NOOOPE! NO SIR! I am waiting for THE ONE Godsends

See The Light says that I have been choosing to go to hell, since I'm not a Christian.

Well I don't want to go to hell.

So, how do I go about believing that Jesus is the Messiah, when I see all this evidence that he was not? How do I believe the Bible was written by God, when I have all this evidence it was written by man?

I don't even know where to begin to "choose heaven" - since, according to See The Light, all I have to do is believe that stuff. I don't know how to make myself believe. Is there some method of sacrificing my intellect? How do I do it?

No sex before marriage, Jesus didn't say this, the catholics made it up, they guessed what god thinks and believe it's true, god would be saying "No chill out, of course you can have sex, enjoy yourselves, the world is ending in a bit". Catholics are a bunch of stuck up goodies.

Why is there such disagreement about the age of the earth given the vast scientific data and fossils supporting the fact that it is billions of years old? Where in the Bible does it say different, and can it be proven?

My parents and grandparents and aunts and uncles are all Christians, but my brother and I have turned out to be atheists. Our mother is the only one who knows so far, because she's the most tolerant. But she feels that she has somehow failed us as a mother. What could we say to her to make her feel better?

to pray for God to go and deal with them.Or is this just unforgiveness when you want God to convict and make them do what is right. You pray for justice, and for God to just deal with them harshly. Is this wrong please give scripture if I am wrong. Is it wrong to want justice, when you have been violated.I know in the old testament people of God prayed for God to slam others.

Look at all the hastle it has caused, there's no dennying it, religion causes trouble for everybody, Jesus was clear about displaying religion, we should all do it in private, PRIVATE, not in a church with about 200 other people, PRIVATE. And if he exists he is right. All christians do is spit on people "you must believe in Jesus to get to heaven", why don't you go tell that to those who never even heard of him? No god = No love | No religion = No wars.

Can the NT stand up by itself, or do you feel that you have to have the OT along with the NT.

I believe that the OT goes along with the NT. The OT is a history lesson to us all (who believe) to show us what could happen and what did infact happen when you trun against God for another God or Gods. So to me you can not have the NT without the OT. They go hand in hand.

The reason for this question is because I have seen alot of Christian answers on here that state that the OT is omitted and the NT is the only one that counts.
Your thoughts please.
God Bless, Be Blessed, Good Day or Night where ever you are

If you were to threaten someone that you are going to hit them, it is considered a "terroristic threat" (and rightfully so) in my home state. It is against the law.

Yet adults can threaten children with "hell and damnation," scaring them terribly.

Should "hell" perhaps be against the law until age 18? Like voting? Or perhaps it should wait until age 21, like alcohol?
