I am at a crossroads and I really think I know the answer that God is giving me, but I want to hear from other believers. In Romans 3:7-8 it states that we are not to use falsehood in order to further God's kingdom and God's glory. The ministry that I am involved with does not outwardly lie, but uses a "re-direct" approach to get clients- which to me is actually lying, since we do not answer their direct questions. What are your thoughts? thanks in advance for serious answers. I truly want wisdom in my situation. I think I need to make a choice here between Christ and the world, and I need some support. God Bless.

this is not my church by the way- it is a ministry outside of church that I am involved in.

You absolutely should not lie or decieve. It will not glorify God. Remember, God may choose to use you- but he does not NEED you. He saves souls, your ministry is just a mouthpiece. If the mouthpiece is lying or being deceptive, then it is not representing God! People start thinking that God needs them to fight his battles! He does not! He is holy and sovereign and he always has the last word.
It sounds like the Holy Spirit is convicting you of the truth here. You are wise to listen and seek wisdom in the bible, rather than go along with the crowd. Good Luck.

Most Churches out in this day and time are out for the money and will use any means to acquire it.
What happen to the old days where the preacher worked like the rest of the community and still preached. His tithe was what his congregation could afford to bring(even if it meant a meal for him and his family) and was accepted, not frowned upon because it was not green
Follow your heart and what God tells you. Find another if it will help, get away from the Hypocrisy

I agree entirely that this "redirect" approach is lying in that it obfuscates the truth. No matter which way is right, if you use deception to turn people to your way then you are wrong. You are right to have doubts about this, don't allow yourself to be a part of it.
Lying does not glorify God. It only cheapens Him as it cheapens everything it touches.

That's a sales and marketing approach, and in my mind, it's very unethical. I would say if giving direct answers does not accomplish what your ministry would like, then the answers must be very questionable.

I think you should follow the Bible. The Bible says that if you're a liar then "the Truth is not in you." Maybe you should take a look at the Ministry.

It is better to maintain ones integrity and keep honesty with you at all times, if you are like this with other people you will be like this with yourself. this makes you a better person and you end up liking yourself for it. follow the ten commandments and you will never go wrong. may god bless you and your family

you already know the right thing to do.
you appreciate straight full answers from here. so your way should be to "do unto others".
because if those you connect yourself to by their sinful-compromising ways entice thee, you should not consent.
if you went along with what in your conscience is wrong.. then you would compromise your good conscience.
come out from among them.

If they want you to use "redirection", ie lies, then you already know the answer.
God does not like liars
