OK i not sure which part of my previous question was against policy. i can see how some could have taken offense to it. as my sarcastic remarks are angry. my apologies. i am spiritual, not religious. i am sick of Christianity. off all the major religions. i feel those belief systems can and have been used to control. when the overall message from every religion is be good to others.
but seriously i don't want to talk to these people about Jesus. what do i have to say to make them leave me alone? i tell them i am not interested. Why would they continue to come back?

Quote "They come back because they have love for you and the God they serve. Truly they want to help you to attain everlasting life free of sickness, death, hate ,war, or dying."
free from Death? everything dies, decay rebirth, new life. The negative side of life is just as important. yin and yang. female male. good bad. right wrong. black white. if we were free of all pain and suffering how would we know bliss? challenges struggles. important for growth and knowledge. I have everlasting life. I believe in reincarnation. Ever have the feeling you been here for a really long time? I feel a social group based on spiritual celebration is important. the problem is when that group gets larger the potential for corruption is greater. children molested, money and power.
I feel it is important to meditate or pray. I prefer mediation, instead of wishing asking something out side of myself to change. and I feel the presence of my loved ones that have passed.
We are all ONE.

Simple: Just make a sign that says: No Relgious Solicitation. That is all and it will work. Hang it on your door or window. This is the kind way of doing it, instead of using foul language or slamming the door in their face. Be kind.

I'm glad you're admitting being sarcastic and angry. I get so angry at narrow-minded hypocrites constantly telling me that all christians try to shove religion down their throats I could scream. I have never tried to convert anyone, and don't know of any group that goes door to door besides Jehovah Witnesses, which by the way, are not your basic christians. Christians not only don't want to control you, I'm guessing most of us have no interest in you whatsoever. Rude, nasty bashers are simply a waste of time and space. If you don't want to see christian questions, don't open them, cause guess what? No one can make you read any question you don't wanna read.
I'd suggest answering the door naked, it seems to work wonders. If you don't wanna do the naked thing, I'm guessing if you treated them the way you treat christians on this site, you'd get rid of them real quick.

Ok, here's what you do: When you see people(men) walking around the neighborhod, chances are they will come to your house. So when you see them close by, put in Slayer real loud, take off your shirt and draw a upside down cross on your mid section with charcoal, and put on lots of eyeliner. When they come, open the door and moan a little. Make sure you droop your eyes. They will be speechless! They will probablly warn other churches of this ahem, "Demonic Figure"! Super LOL!

I'd just like to say that just because some have misused religion does make the religion at fault. There are many who have found places to enjoy Christianity without the "control" everyone seems to want to believe exist. Frankly, I have never had a Christian try to control me.
That said, it depends on the group knocking on your door. The Jehovah's Witnesses will continue to knock until you tell them flat out you will not talk to them and you are not interested. Or, you can learn the Bible well enough and tie them in knots. I'm on their black list because of that, they never come to my door.
If they are Mormon, just tell them point blank you do not want to hear what they have to say and to tell their leaders you will not tolerate them knocking on your door again. This usually works but you can threaten to call the police if it becomes necessary.
If it's another Christian group just tell them you know God and do not want to talk to them. Ask them to make sure their church knows not to knock on your door again. Other than JW's and Mormons I have never had to do more than that.

Hi,
you could post a sign on your front door saying:sorry am busy casting spells..lol no really i was just kidding ! Seriouasly tho you could post a sign on your door saying NO SOLICITORS OF ANY KIND ALLOWED THIS INCLUDES RELIGIOUS SOLICITATIONS ALSO. If they keep coming back then inform them that you will not tolerate the continued harrassment and that the Local Law enforcement Authorities will be informed of their continued unwanted visits.you could also contact the "Church" that these people represent and tell the minister or church represenative that you wish these visitations to cease.(Please make sure that you get their names and driver's liscense number if applicable).
I hope that this will be of some help to you.:)

I have heard of a sign you can put on your door that is similar to a "No Soliciting" sign. Just have one that reads "No Religious Soliciting" sign. If they ignore it, you can call the police for trespassing.
I'm a Christian myself but I hate the religious solicitation. I feel that if people truly have it in their hearts to want what I have, they will seek ME out, and not the other way around.
Good luck on your privacy.

Tell them you heard that Jesus got up after being dead three days, and started walking around like nothing ever happened, and then he arose into the sky and became a god, and how come he can't answer amputees' prayers, and instead give a duck four legs, which happened somewhere on the news a couple months ago.
Also ask them if it's okay, if you come home and find your family worshipping a false god is it okay to stone them, and if not how come the Bible god commanded it?
Tell them you read that rudimentary hind limbs appear briefly on the embryos of whales and dolphins, and then say to them WHAT WAS GOD THINKING??

I had some of those fruity religiously infected loons knock on my door yesturday. I gave them a "NO STUPIDITY" list. Kinda like the telephone do not call list. The NO STUPIDITY list contained a number of my neighbors that are feed up with the religious retards. Hopefully it will stop them.

Jehovah's Witnesses are too thick to pay attention to a sign. Any more I firmly tell them to go and not come back. I noticed some of them bring little kids with them I gather so you wont be overly nasty with them. I tell them they should be ashamed of themselves for polluting the minds of young children and forcing them to join them on their rounds. That these kids should be on a baseball diamond instead of listening to you reading some stupid Watchtower in your JC Pennys suit. As you can see they really bug me.

Study apologetics and know more about scripture than they do. That way, each time they try to expound their religious dogma you can counter with the truth! Works great!
