Ok, I want to choose to go to heaven....how do I do it?

Question

See The Light says that I have been choosing to go to hell, since I'm not a Christian.

Well I don't want to go to hell.

So, how do I go about believing that Jesus is the Messiah, when I see all this evidence that he was not? How do I believe the Bible was written by God, when I have all this evidence it was written by man?

I don't even know where to begin to "choose heaven" - since, according to See The Light, all I have to do is believe that stuff. I don't know how to make myself believe. Is there some method of sacrificing my intellect? How do I do it?

And tell me this: Am I sinning by not believing? Am I being immoral by not believing? Because I sure don't want to be immoral. But again, I don't understand how to exercise my free will in this matter.

Each God of different faith has different ways to take people to Heaven or Hell as most Christians believe Jesus will take them to Heaven/Hell. It is for you to believe and select your master and serve him with heart full of Bhakti and devotion. I believe Lord Krishna will take us to only to Heaven and not hell as the subject Hell is not talked that often like other religions. It is like a girl who taken care with all love by her parents right from her birth and once she gets married she is taken care by the in-laws, husband and others in that house. So think yourself in this situation and act. It is enough you do your duty and Lord Krishna will take care of you as already told by him as under -

Bhagwan Sri Krishna says in Chapter 9, verse 26 as -

Patram, Pushpam, Phalam, Toyam yo me Bhakty prayacchati-
tad aham bhakty-upahrtam asnami Pryatatmanah-

Meaning in English-

whoever with loving devotion offers unto Me a leaf, a flower, a fruit or water, I affectionately accept that devotional offering from that pure hearted being.

So you need not feel anything immoral and have Bhakti and love Krishna.-

Wonderful !! You have already started the good way. To Believe and know that you have an inner Wisdom to Believe in Heaven and all the good things that are associated with God the Father Almighty. Read in the Holy Bible or some Inspirational booklets. Go to a Christian Book shop and select a book or words that you find interesting. The more you read, the more you will be filled with the Glorious knowledge of God and Heaven. You now see the Light. It is like being in a deep dark valley and once you look up and out of that valley you will see the Light. Believing in Jesus is the same experience. I have walked in many deep dark valleys and seemed not to know what to do. Then the simple question is: Oh my Heavenly Father, what am I to do ? Immediately , I looked up to Heaven. There was the Light. SO simple. All I had to do was pray from my inner heart and soul to God and ask for help. Then I was immediately able to climb out of the deep dark valley. Sincerely ASK and Ye Shall Receive. Then be sure to say Thank you, Lord. Keep on and let the Light shine upon you.

As long as you want to go to heaven you are really saying you are not in heaven. The bible say the kingdom of heaven is at hand, meaning here and now. Heaven is not where you go, but is an awareness that you are already there. If you want to experience heaven you must think and say especially to yourself that you are already there. Use a thought like this or your own variation: Thank you for allowing me the experience of being in heaven. Continue to reinforce that idea by being persistent and shortly you will be amazed. The only thing that can stop that experience is doubt or inconsistency on your part. Makes no difference whom you perceive that you are communicating with, Since the receiver of the information will be your own sub-conscious, which is the central processing unit of your life.

You don't have to sacrifice your intellect in order to have a true spiritual experience that Jesus Christ is the Messiah.

A testimony that is based on the fear of going to hell is not of any real value to God. It's like going to Church so you can avoid a spanking. You have to really communicate with God through heartfelt prayer! If the emotion isn't there, the prayer won't work. When you're really and truly communicating, you can ask God the Father if Jesus is His only Begotton Son and soon you will find that you can feel something from the Holy Ghost, who will never lead you astray.

You were born to live. It is a gift and the idea is for you to enjoy it. How would you feel Xmas morning if your kids completely disregarded the gifts you gave them? You were created by a drive to expand joy and that is your clue. It is also your job although more like a hobby. Use your senses, emotions, feelings to check and see if you are going in the right direction. If you feel bad, you are not. If you feel good, you are. It is that simple. If you prefer to do this in the context of religion, then good for you. If you do not, good for you. Anything or anyone who makes you feel guilty, inadequate, disempowered, negative in any way is not useful for you. Let them go. Go with the flow. Suffering is not the aim or goal. Joy is. Choose heaven now. If others tell you that you are being selfish, and you are bibically oriented, then think to yourself, Get thee behind me, Satan, smile at them because they are living their life as best they can with the tools they have, and walk away. well my friend by accepting Jesus Christ is the only possible way to get in to heaven. you say you need evidence? Jesus said "blessed is he who has not seen me,and still believes" you see Satan wants you to believe that Jesus Christ isn't the true messiah....and Satan is actually coming as the anti-Christ and proclaim that he is the true Christ..and many will be deceived ..Satan is sneaky all he wants is to destroy and take as many as he can with him..be care full of what you decide.you can either accept the sacrifice Jesus did for us and believe that he died on the cross for our sins so that we may be saved ..or you can choose not to believe and spend the rest of eternity in hell and hell isn't gonna be pretty.

The Dualities of suffering and happiness in Hell and Heaven respectively are both temporary situations in the material world. Both are not eternal places like the spiritual world

But, if one goes to the spiritual world one is reinstated in one's original constitutional position as spirit soul. Soul is by nature, sac-cid-ananda, i.e., eternal, knowledgeable and blissful, the very nature of the Supreme Lord.

So, one should not aspire for the temporary material situation, but rather desire to go to eternal spiritual world beyond heaven.

Sacrificing your intellect is nothing compared to what was sacrificed for you.

God the Father said,
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes on Him shall not perish but have everlasting life."

God set absolute rules and whether we like it or not, He is God. God is Creator of all and He tells us that He owns it all.
He tells us that He is the Potter and we are the clay. He tells us that He has the right to make good pots and bad pots. God tells us that all things, including you and me, are made for His pleasure. We want to think that it is about us, but it is not. It is all about God. Your purpose and my purpose for being created is to please God.

I don't understand the evidence you think you have. Five hundred eye witnesses saw Jesus alive after the crucifixion and grave. Jesus prophesied that He would be crucified and after 3 days He would arise from the grave. Death could not hold Jesus and death cannot hold me. Absent from the body and present with the Lord.

Remember one thing that our intellect doesn't make a dot in the intellect of God. God says that His ways are higher than our ways.

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved.

God has always existed, not man
God created everything, not man
God came to earth in the flesh (Jesus) and died for you, not

God loves you unconditionally, not man

So: Ask Jesus into your heart, repent of your sins, forgive others as He forgave us, and be willing to change. Follow the path that Jesus leads. Read the Word of God and whatever you do, Discern everything with The Word of God as you will get many wrong answers and satan deceives us through people, popular opinions, human logic, etc. The Lord will give you the Holy Spirit to indwell you so that you can understand God's Word and as a christian will come to know God/Jesus. You must be born again--feed your spirit regularly. Jesus will help you in your walk with Him. He loves you and is standing at your heart's door, waiting for you to ask Him into your heart. You don't make the decision to go to Heaven or hell. God does. =) He woulnd't just throw you in hell. He loves you.

Why wouldn't you love someone (like God) who loves you? If your friend cared about you, wouldn't you care about them? You wouldn't just tell them to buzz off.

In the end, it's all up to you whether you believe or not.

=) Just choose whatever makes you happy, but be aware that your choices affect everyone around you, including God. He is a being and He has feelings too!
