Look at all the hastle it has caused, there's no dennying it, religion causes trouble for everybody, Jesus was clear about displaying religion, we should all do it in private, PRIVATE, not in a church with about 200 other people, PRIVATE. And if he exists he is right. All christians do is spit on people "you must believe in Jesus to get to heaven", why don't you go tell that to those who never even heard of him? No god = No love | No religion = No wars.

There can be plenty of love without God. REAL love, not imaginary love, and that would be a good thing. The more people who "scrap religion", as you put it, the better.

Jesus mentioned private prayer, but He also mentioned Christians gathering together to worship. Jesus Himself gathered together with His apostles, so I don't think He ever condemned it.
I'm not a Christian, but it is clear from history that religion has done more good than it has ever done harm. The only harm comes from people who use it as an excuse. These wars would have happened anyway, because they were really about power-struggles, not religion.
Religion is the best means for establishing order and tranquillity in the world.

Religion has NOT caused trouble for everybody, as you have stated. There are billions of people in the world who find their religion to be a safe haven and a means of salvation. What kind of person do you think you are to throw out a blanket statement like that, trashing on all religions and more or less saying we're all horrible people for loving and respecting our religion. You should be ashamed of yourself!

There are people who need religion, so we should not scrap it. However, they should practise in private and not impose their beliefs on everybody else.
What we should scrap is the church. The church has done more damage than religion. The church has divided people, has filled them with guilt, has caused families to break up and caused wars resulting in poverty and death. Yes, it is definitely time the church was scrapped.

I think we should scrap science. You might want to blame war on Religion, but I would lay the blame at the feet of the Politicians who used religion as their motivator to get people to kill and die for them...
Meanwhile, Science has the honor of being the creator of all of the weapons of death and destruction we have today...Not just Guns, and Bombs, and Tanks (oh my), but also the ABC's of Atomic, Biological and Chemical warfare...
It isn't the hysterical religionists, but calm cool practical people that have been in back of War, and Calm Cool Logical Scientists that have given them the tools of mass destruction and death.

Yeah, except exactly who gets to make this decision??
I hate these kinds of questions. They do nothing but remind people of what they hate and cause even more strife. Let's look for reasonable solutions that let people believe as they wish within appropriate societal boundaries, instead of playing make-believe what-if games.

i agree. like, my god is better than your god. Oh the Jehovah wittiness think they are the only ones going to heave. The Latter Day Saints think they will be the only one in heaven. The Muslims think they will be the only one in heaven. And the Catholics think they're right. The white baptist The black Baptist.

It is OK for them to have their myths as long as they do not impose them on us.
However I do not think that getting rid of religions will stop wars - the idiots will find something to fight over.
