Because of ignorance, intolerance and stupidity! Everyone is so certain that they are the only ones who follow the "true God" or what ever that they can't see that they are destroying our world. Hatred creates negative energy, negative energy creates hate. It is a vicious cycle that for some stupid pathetic reason no one seems willing to break. The Christian's think they are right, so they turn on the Pagans and Atheists. The Pagans think they are right so they turn on the Christians. And so on and so on. Learning to love is made harder by the fact that no one wants to take the time and listen to one another and possibly learn a new way of living. Hating is easiest because it doesn't require any real thought process. It's called not following the path that you claim to follow.

Out of STUPIDITY! Yes we are suppose to love everyone. If God made us all, how can you say that you love God, but you hate his children. We are all the same. We are all different and this is what makes us unique. Sometimes I have seen where a person is raised in a household to believe that certain others are bad. Ignorance is the only excuse for this. There is no need for hate in this world. It is already a struggle just to survive day-to-day without the hate! I hope that I have resolved your question in some type of way.

There is so much hate in our world and society
because some people
cannot accept people for who they are
And the Evangelicans and Pentecostals have that
sin issue
and all they ever preach about is hell and the devil
just to scare and convert people into their
bunch of lies
Yes some Christians are bigots and very hard and
judgmental on other people
and they try to control the world and this produces
hatred and racism in our society
If only some Christians can keep their big mouth shut
and quit trying to act like they are God
If only we could love all gay people in our world and
accept them as brothers and sisters
This would be a better world to live
and for people to accept transexuals as human beings
and accept them for who they are in this life
Churches are so divided and we all have our differences
over this and that

I was watching Clerks II the other night and they went out and rode Go Karts...
I'm thinking we should all take a break and ride some Go Karts or take in a game of mini golf every day with co-workers, family and friends... Imagine how much happier we'd be if we actually had a little recess.
But those religious things--they go way back. Good luck changing history.
And what the person above me says... insensitive, stupidity, etc... There's no reason in the world.

thats the big one isnt it?well, id like to throw my hat in the ring for this one.why so much hate? because its easy to hate.and humans on the whole, are lazy creatures.the path of least resistance, right?as for the religion thing, well, heres my idea.every major eligion proclaims that it is the one true religion with its own one true god.the proponents of these religions then proceed to "convert the savages" and further estrange the very people theyre trying to "save"its been going on for the whole of human civilization.and it probably wont stop for a long time. the most we can do is to be as tolerant as we can of other people and their spiritual beliefs.good luck.

Idk...but that is a good question! Why is there so much hate in the world?
First we go through Martin Luther King, and then he has racism kinda go away when its now coming back. People are now building a school for Islamic Children and no white kids or other kids can be there...its coming back.
Why is there so much hate in the world? i hate it as much as you do!

Just to name one point it is kind of hard to get along when some people use their religion to carry out their personal goals. The muslims are using their religion to suicide bomb their enemies. This wrong but then again how bad is that considering the fact that European settlers used their religions to wipe out the Native Americans. Look at the death toll of suicide bombers, now look at the death toll of all Native Americans killed by settlers.

--Each live by their own stories only and expect others to do the same, take Ireland and all the wars they had. The wars were from beliefs in religion differences and the rest of wars from country to country, all religious each in their belief and thats all. wars of nothing but religion of which is only a story or a bunch of stories.

Perception of so much hate in the world is because we generated the kind of karma to be reborn into a world where we perceive it as such. If you want to work at being reborn into a realm that's less spooky, and boy is this one spooky... we have to generate the causes and conditions (i.e. good karma, virtuous actions) to be reborn elsewhere or study the Dharma and attain enlightenment.
