I believe there is some type of God and all that stuff, but I was never baptized when I was an infant and I know nothing about the Bible. I don't have a Bible, but my parents do, and I would feel funny taking the Bible from them. People always quote the Bible to me and I have no clue what they are talking about.

I have a severe medical problem and I have problems walking and I do not know if the insurance will cover the medication I need called humira that can help enable me to walk. I am in my early 30's and I have children so I am very frustrated and have been feeling depressed because I dont know why God chose me to have this problem or why God chose to have me here this life and to have to suffer in pain and the inability to walk and have people stare at me. I was really hoping the doctor could get the medication pushed through and I am still waiting for a answer and it has been a couple of days and I have been in tears a lot cause I want to walk right, I have rheumatory arthirtis and my name is Anna, I would really appreciate your prayers. along time ago I was at a party and i seduced my friend toms girlfriend jill and her friend on a bed at the party,Tom invited me to the party and i made out and seduced his girlfriend, this is when i was in high school in grade 11, now i am 10 yearsold and in college yesterday i had a dream that i was in bed with someguys girlfriend and the guy was crying, do u think my dream was trying to tell me something, that maybe i am sorry how do i tell tom i am sorry for ruinening his relationship with his former gf I think he really loved her

Is actual water baptism REQUIRED for salvation? Or are we saved by simple baptism of the Holy Spirit when we accept Christ?

I always thought water wasn't required because I always went by, "Only by faith you are saved," but right now I don't know.

don't u think the OT shows a 'punishing' God rather than the God of love Jesus talks about? Did God change? Or God sent his son for people to understand his message correctly?

(For 'punishing God' I would mention all the sufferings he inflicted Job, or the tests he put Abraham into)

Just found this...So catholic priests follow bishops (may be pope) not the bible? Should they say that priests must have curly long hair, then?

Q:Can Roman Catholic priest have long hair?

A: I do not believe there is any Church Law about hair length.

But all priests have made vows of obedience and must follow any of their bishop's rules.

I just saw this as an answer to a valid question, in which the responder also told the asker to do her homework.. how about this passage of scripture then?

Deuteronomy 21:18-21: If any man has a stubborn and rebellious son who will not obey (SHD 8085) his father or his mother and when they chastise him he will not even listen to them then his father and mother shall seize him and bring him out to the elders of his city a the gateway of his hometown. And they shall say to the elders of his city: This son of ours is stubborn and rebellious he will obey us he is a glutton and a drunkard and all the men of his city shall stone him to death so you shall remove the evil from your midst and all Israel shall hear of it and fear.

Perhaps others need to do their homework as well.

and if Christ paid the punishment for our sins, why should we bother trying to be sinless? Do you have to confess every little sin to be forgiven, or is it auotomatically taken care of when you have faith that Christ died and rose from the dead?
