1But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them.
6They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over weak-willed women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires, 7always learning but never able to acknowledge the truth. 8Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these men oppose the truth—men of depraved minds, who, as far as the faith is concerned, are rejected. 9But they will not get very far because, as in the case of those men, their folly will be clear to everyone.

You will discover that there are a lot of ignorant people when you ask a question like this on Yahoo. Don't be discouraged. You cannot educate people who don't want to be educated, or taught the truth even though it is staring them in the face. The Bible is the only book in existence that has correctly prophesied 100% correctly. One of the biggest prophecy's to come true was when it said that Israel would become a nation again (1948 I believe this happened). There have been scholars over the years who have disputed things in the Bible, but if you are lucky to live long enough, you will see how later in life these same things that were shot down, will once again prove true. One big example is that there was a city mentioned in the Bible that scholars said never existed. Guess what, several years ago it was found. Don't debate these non-believers, your wasting your breath. They will not do any research to back up their non belief, they will only shoot yours down. God bless!

ZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Sorry, questions with decrease-and-paste junk in them make me nod off. The Bible and the deluded fools who have confidence it have been predicting the top of the international for the final 2,000 years together as others have been "scoffing" at them for merely as long. so a techniques "the scoffers" have been suitable each time. the international replaced into actual going to end on the turn of the 1st Millennium, and lower back interior the 1300's whilst the Black loss of existence raged throughout the time of Europe. there replaced into yet another significant bout of the top of the international interior the 1660's whilst the Plague lower back and of direction greater presently it replaced into all going to end interior the year 2,000. In between those significant activities of mass hysteria there have been many different classes of well-known ranting and wailing that the top replaced into Nigh and this modern episode of drawing close Doom is not any diverse. that's in basic terms somewhat greater pathetic than till now cases because of the fact you would be able to have expected that Christians have been somewhat greater smart and nicely-knowledgeable those days yet then for sure there is not any accounting for sheer blind stupidity. Predicting "scoffers" is easy... you anticipate that at some obscure 2nd interior the destiny something ludicrous and especially unbelievable yet undesirable will happen after which you anticipate that some human beings could have the commonsense to work out your prediction for the utter nonsense that it is... for this reason a prediction of "scoffers".

Do you know HOW many times in History Christian Ministers have said the same thing. Some have even predicated dates, like the upcoming 2012!

YOu know, it's never happened.

I'm not saying it won't, but YOU will know it when it happens for you won't find anything to drink, you'll cook with log fires, light your house with candles or meat fat with wicks, you won't see the sun anymore, the ground will shake on a daily basis everywhere and they'll be a huge WORLD WAR that affects EVERY NATION DIRECTLY.

You will be living in Iraq in the US or Canada or England or Australia

YOu will hear gunfire daily

Your neighbors will have guns and swords

There will be dead bodies outside on your street and NO ONE will attend to them

There will be no police, no firedepartment, no running water, no electricity, no airconditioning.

Then you'll know end of times is here.

For global warming to do that will take 100 or more years.

Na! The oil runs out in about 300-400 years. By then Global warming will block the sun to a degree, raise the waters, get rid of the ice and make Greenland a tropic.

Then we might start to see the begining of end of times when MAN goes to war over what oil is left in the ground.

And who is growing food still.

Hasn't the world always been like that? Think about it. Weren't Cain and Abel disobedient to their parents? Wasn't the world always full of proud, boastful, money-loving, abusive people. It is all seen in all of history and even throughout the bible. Those things aren't new. There has always been a guy, throughout history, with a sign that said it was the end of days. That the world was coming to an end. And even God denied Christ.

I believe Christ is a real person and so do many people, but I know he is not the only way to Heaven. The Bible has some truth in it, it was already proven to the scientist of this world and they still don't care. You are a lit candle whom done lots of preachin', I feel you are a good woman, so in these last days of global warming, spend the time with your love ones and let the sinners have their last hurrah.

The Word of God cuts to the truth,if any one Denys Christ they deny the only one that can Save them.People choose whom they will serve. Many serve themselves, the gold, the glory of their success in everything else but who and what God has done for them. Many have their priorities so out of balance, even in the church. They are more concerned at how they appear then the character that God is trying to give them.

Just as you mentioned, it's a fulfilled prophecy. Jesus said few people will be on the straight path to life, that many would be on the broad path to destruction. Alot of people don't believe the bible. I didn't use to believe it before I began to make an intense study of it. Interesting though....that if anyone did take the time to read these prophecies of the "end times"...it would sound very familiar to what is happening in our world today.

It's a sad thing, but as you stated before "in the last days, people will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving...". If they are without love and unforgiving then they dont have God in them. But all true Christians know that the word of God will never pass away and that's law.

Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

Because EVERYBODY doesn't believe that the Bible is the final word on everything. Some people follow other religions - and you probably would too - if you were born into a different religion.

It's okay. There's only one God. Calm down. Really - it's okay.

The Havamal, the Voluspa and the Eddas all say something entirely different. I think I shall believe in those since they are Scandinavian works and I am Scandinavian - not Middle Eastern.
