We can't call chrsitianity as pagan, but definitely influenced by roman/greek paganism.
Belief such as
trinity,
original sins
easter
25th dec as christmas
X-mass
all are taken from paganism of pre-chrsitian era

Most Christians have been snowed. They don't know that His real name was Yahoshua. Zeus, in mythology had a son named Iaseus. The Romans often named their children after mythological deities. Jesus is the Helenized form of Iaseus.
I believe that the lives of two men were confused. One named Iaseus ( the son of a man known as Pandira), and the prophesied teacher, Yahoshua.
The name Kristos, where the word Christ comes from, is also a pagan Deity name. Yahoshua would not appreciate being called either one.

Of course Christianity is not a pagan religion. The God Zeus is Greek and has nothing to do with Christianity. Why do you use the term "their" pagan God - I always thought Zeus was your pagan God.....
In Aramaic/Hebrew the name Jesus is "Yoshwa" which is often rendered "Joshua" in English. The name Jesus comes from the Greek form of the name "Isous", as the new testament of the Bible came to us in Greek.

No, Jesus is a roman interpretation of Joshua, which is itself an interpretation of the Hebrew name. In fact, when you see the letters in Hebrew, you see that the word for god -- yod he vaw he -- gets one more letter in the middle (is it shin?) to become the name of Jesus. There's esoteric significance to this which I will not get into here.
The main thing to remember is when you read the Bible in English, you are reading something which has been translated and interpreted over and over again. Do not make too much of coincidences and anomalies which crop up in English.

Jesus's real name was, in Greek, IeÌsous. It was translated as Jesus. Christians do not worship Zeus, and it is not a pagan religion, though some aspects of it are pagan in origin.

Jesus is the Greek form of Joshua. There is no connection whatsoever with the name Zeus.

an angel appeared to mary and said you will give birth to a son and his name will be Jesus.
Jehovah God chose that name for his son on earth. His name in heaven is different. It is Michael the Archangel. He is the firstborn of all creation. Everything was made through him. If we don't go through him God will not hear our prayers.
Jesus came to earth to die for our sins therefore we want to take advantage of his loving sacrifice. We will do as Jesus and worship God with our whole mind, soul and strength.

It is most proper to call Him Yeshua. It was indeed his proper name, given to him by his parents, and only in Hebrew does this name have any meaning. In Hebrew Yeshua means both "Salvation," and the concatenated form of Yahoshua, is "Lord who is Salvation." The name Jesus has no intrinsic meaning in English whatsoever.

"Jesus" is an Anglicization of the Greek Iesous, itself believed to be a transliteration of the Hebrew ×××שע Yehoshua or Hebrew-Aramaic ×ש××¢ Yeshua, meaning "YHWH is salvation."
