Islam and muslim are never mentioned in the Ancient Holy Text of the Bible.
I do how ever see many times the words Jewish and Christian!
Those prophets practisiced their religion pleasing God, some as Jews and others as Christians. I know my Holy Text and it's Author knows me.
I Love him and he loves me...
Jesus Christ the Messiah and Savior was "a lamb with out blemish"=no sin, whom takes away the sin of the world=original sin (Adam and Eve) Only he is worthy to be our Spiritual King! He was the one the Prophets prophecied about. That is the meaning of prophet= to prophecy.
Jesus Christ the Messiah fulfilled the prophecies. Jesus Christ was not a mere Prophet. He was proclaimed of as the Son of God. The Angel Gabriel said "he would be called the Son of God" I hope this helps you and sheds the light of Jesus Christ upon you.
Jesus Christ is the Truth the Light and the Way.
Ask him youself he is very near!

*kindly, nowhere in the Ancient Holy Text of the Bible does it say that another prophet is coming! The only Holy people left, after Jesus Christ are CALLED the Apostles/Diciples and the Saints!
It has been written "The end of the Prophets!" because Jesus Christ fulfilled all the prophesies!
plus, the only other one the Holy Bible speaks of is the Holy Spirit that Jesus said would come upon them and help them in the book of Acts to miraculously make them to speak different languages to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ around the world! (and did in those Apostles life time in a very short time, like weeks or a month soon after during their life time.)
That is the Gospel truth! NOW, you have NO excuse my lovelies!

Nooooo! I have read the Quaran!
However, everything in the Holy Bible that is stated is preprophesied about and confirmed as fulfilled hundreds of years later. It is over, Jesus Christ is the Messiah and Son of God!
Born without sin of the Virgin, period.
There is nothing more to do, it is done, it is finished. To say other wise is blasphemous, in that some way that it is not complete.

Noor... I do this for YOU for the Love of God YHWH!
Trinity doctrine:"go and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost" (Matthew 28:18).
*Notice the plural pronouns "us" and "our" in Genesis 1:26 -- Then God said, "Let us make man in OUR image, in OUR likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air…
Jesus said: "I and the Father are one." (John 10:30)
"He who has seen Me has seen the Father." (John 14:9)
If anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him. (Rom. 8:9)
“…the heavens were opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove, and coming upon Him, and behold, a voice out of the heavens, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well-pleased." (Matt. 3:16-17)
God bless you richly with the light of Truth!

Noor I have more spiritual truths for you! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR CHATING WITH ME!!!
St. John's testimony is yet more explicit than that of the Synoptists. He expressly asserts that the very purpose of his Gospel is to establish the Divinity of Jesus Christ (John 20:31). In the prologue he identifies Him with the Word, the only-begotten of the Father, Who from all eternity exists with God, Who is God (John 1:1-18). The immanence of the Son in the Father and of the Father in the Son is declared in Christ's words to St. Philip:***"Do you not believe, that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me?"*** (14:10)

The Dead Sea Scrolls is more proof of the Holy Bible's perfection! It is all there if you study in Jesus Christ's name with the Holy Spirit of Truth, with a willingness to learn...
Why do you keep avoiding this truth?
Why do you waste your life trying to disprove God's Holy Words???
DO YOU NOT DISRESPECT THE HOLY PROPHETS BY DOING SO?

Kahlid H,
I pray the "Our Father" like Jesus Christ instructed us to do... You make false claims about Christianity! Christians ARE NOT God. They make loads of mistakes! They can be false at times but NOT the teachings in the Holy Bible about Christianity!
JESUS GAVE US A COMMAND!!!
on the Holy Cross he said in:
John 19:26-27
Jesus saw his own mother, and the disciple standing near whom he loved, he said to his mother, "Woman, behold your son". Then he said to the disciple, "BEHOLD YOUR MOTHER". And from that hour, he took his mother into his family.

That quote "behold thy Mother"
How do you honor your Mother
by ignoring her?
No, we ask her to pray for us and we Love her and honor her! This is not idle worship! She is a Holy member of our family!

In the name of Allah the most gracious, the most merciful.

What we muslims think about jesus (pbuh)

Islam honors all the prophets who were sent to mankind. Muslims respect all prophets in general, but Jesus in particular, because he was one of the prophets who foretold the coming of Muhammad. Muslims, too, await the second coming of Jesus. They consider him one of the greatest of Allah's prophets to mankind. A Muslim does not refer to him simply as "Jesus," but normally adds the phrase "peace be upon him" as a sign of respect.
No other religion in the world respects and dignifies Jesus as Islam does. The Qur'an confirms his virgin birth (a chapter of the Qur'an is entitled "Mary"), and Mary is considered to have been one of the purest women in all creation. The Qur'an describes Jesus' birth as follows:

"Behold!' the Angel said, God has chosen you, and purified you, and chosen you above the women of all nations. Mary, God gives you good news of a word from Him, whose name shall be the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, honored in this world and in the Hereafter, and one of those brought near to God. He shall speak to the people from his cradle and in maturity, and he shall be of the righteous. She said: "My Lord! How shall I have a son when no man has touched me?'
He said: "Even so; God creates what He will. When He decrees a thing,
He says to it, 'Be!' and it is." [3:42-47]

Muslims believe that Jesus was born immaculately, and through the same power which had brought Eve to life and Adam into being without a father or a mother.

"Truly, the likeness of Jesus with God is as the likeness of Adam. He created him of dust, and then said to him, 'Be!' and he was." [3:59]

During his prophetic mission, Jesus performed many miracles. The Qur'an tells us that he said:

"I have come to you with a sign from your Lord: I make for you out of clay, as it were, the figure of a bird, and breathe into it and it becomes a bird by God's leave. And I heal the blind, and the lepers, and I raise the dead by God's leave." [3:49]

Muhammad and Jesus, as well as the other prophets, were sent to confirm the belief in one God. This is referred to in the Qur'an where Jesus is reported as saying that he came:

"To attest the law which was before me, and to make lawful to you part of what was forbidden you; I have come to you with a sign from your Lord, so fear God and obey me." [3:50]

Prophet Muhammad emphasized the importance of Jesus by saying:
"Whoever believes there is no god but Allah, alone without partner, that Muhammad is His messenger, that Jesus is a servant and messenger of God, His word breathed into Mary and a spirit emanating from Him, and that Paradise and Hell are true, shall be received by God into Heaven. [Bukhari]

And just to add on Jesus(pbuh) never calls himself God even one time in the Bible.

The bible told of the coming of a second prophet several hundred years after Jesus. Old versions of the bible, which you will probably never find a copy of, contain a paragraph telling of the coming of a second prophet. While I was at school, a lot of years ago, a visiting priest comented about the second coming that had been prophesized. In new bibles, the paragraph telling of the second prophet has been removed. That second prophet did come, and he spoke a new law. My entire life I have lived as a Christian; my nature and conduct varying greatly relative to my age and wisdom. Now I see my fellow Christians being misled by a vile media, proving what cannot be proven, saying that which is not so. The media serves the interests of others that have no altruistic aims. They are turning the religions against each other; the first great war was over land, the second great war was fascism, the third great war will be between the religions. The only way to stop this happening is to question your media. The truth is very hard to find in a world where you only hear one side of every story. Question what you are told to believe, if you can't find the truth then don't listen to what they have to say, you will also be misled. The media does not serve your interests!!! The second prophet brought forward the koran, the new law. Islam is not at fault, you have been misled by your media; like nearly everybody else on this planet. I am still a Christian, I feel great respect for the words of Jesus, and I wear my faith with pride, but now I question that which I am told by the media, and my life is much better for it. I would recommend that you do the same.

Well said I am soo happy to read what you wrote because every where I go people speak against Jesus but Jesus is the way the life and the truth, He is the only one that can ever shed light upon our sinful and dark souls. All Humans are sinful and when we are born sinners we don't know or understand God. No matter how hard we try to understand religion or spiritual things we can not unless Jesus himself helps us believe and understand in Him.
THank YOu so much for what you said

In the Bible it says
" In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God. He created everything there is." John 1:1-3
So the Word became flesh and lived here on earth among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness." John 1: 14
God Himself became flesh to take away the sins of the world and to offer salvation to all mankind.

Well, you may know a lot about Christianity but you have your facts wrong about the Jews. The word Jewish and Jews may be in the bible but they did not believe that Jesus was the son of god. They think that he is a prophet. The jews are still waiting on their messiah.

I am Muslim and left Christainity for Islam back last Sepetmber because I didn't see how Jesus(PBUH*) was God. Alhamdullilah that I'm on the correct path and that ALLAH Baseer opened my eyes and my heart to Islam before it was too late for me. Isa(PBUH*) is a prophet of ALLAH who performed many miracles by the grace of ALLAH himself. Jesus(PBUH*) and all the other prophets from Adam to Muhammad(PBUT*) are slaves to ALLAH and Muslims. I hope you learn the truth of Islam before it is too late for you. And I will stick with being Muslim. Also please do not try to convert Muslims or other non Christians to your religion if they don't want to leave their religions. And Jews don't recognize Jesus(PBUH*) at all. The reason the Injeel(BIBLE) doesn't have Jesus(PBUH*) as a prophet or Muslims or Muhammad(PBUH*) in it is because the Catholics of old changed the texts of the Bible when they got it. No where in the Bible does it say that Jesus(PBUH*) ever said he was God or the son of God. That's blaspheme. And we recognize the virgin birth of Jesus(PBUH*) from Mariam. It's in the Qur'an and there's even a whole sura titled Mariam.

Jesus was a messenger of God like Moses, Mohamed, Abraham, Noah etc...He was the messenger of God with the most miracles. He was taken to the Heavens by God and he will come back to announce the Day Of Judgement to humanity. He didn't die for us and God could have never let him die that way. Jesus was not and is not the son of God because a god who has a son is weak, very weak! Jesus is not the only way to God because the only way to God is God Himself. Nobody in between. The fact that Jesus died for our sins is nonsense. It's just something Christians learn from their parents, at school and in the church. Why does anybody has to die for our sins? what's the purpose of it?
Jesus was human just like anybody else but God chose him before he was born to be a messenger for him. What's wrong with this? at least it sounds logical and reasonable.

Praise be to Allah.

The question MUST be "Christians DO YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHO 'Easa [Jesus] (Peace be upon him) is?!?"

Try this site, here's a brief look at ‘Eesa (Jesus) – peace be upon him :
http://www.islam-qa.com/index.php?ref=10277&ln=eng

BUT what I want to comment on, is that you claimed that you read The Holy Qur'aan, so I suppose that you read your bible first. Read those passages from the bible:

Matthew 7

21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Now read these noble verses from The Holy Qur'aan as Allah (The One who created you) says (interpretation of the meaning):

“And (remember) when Allaah will say (on the Day of Resurrection): ‘O ‘Eesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary)! Did you say unto men: “Worship me and my mother as two gods besides Allaah?”’ He will say: ‘Glory be to You! It was not for me to say what I had no right (to say). Had I said such a thing, You would surely have known it. You know what is in my inner-self though I do not know what is in Yours; truly, You, only You, are the All-Knower of all that is hidden (and unseen).

Never did I say to them aught except what You (Allaah) did command me to say: “Worship Allaah, my Lord and your Lord.”’ And I was a witness over them while I dwelt amongst them, but when You took me up, You were the Watcher over them; and You are a Witness to all things. (This is a great admonition and warning to the Christians of the whole world).

If You punish them, they are Your slaves, and if You forgive them, verily, You, only You, are the All Mighty, the All Wise”

[al-Maa’idah 5:116-118]

I hope you got the message ...

EDIT:
IF YOU HAVE THAT MUCH KNOWLEDGE, Why didn't you reply to the messages I sent to you??

May Allah guide you to his straight true path. Ameen.
