I give a 10th of my increase, my firstfruits, to the Church I get fed at, as unto my High Priest & King. I love to do this, because I was able to make some money & have a tithe to give.
My husband isn't saved yet & he is the one who makes the money for the most part. And I don't tithe off his increase.
Offerings are given to the Lords ministries where ever I feel led of God to give.
Of course, I also give to the charity wagon when it comes around. Today, they took away two stuffed bags of clothing +.

Yes, I give to many charities regularly.
But really regularly can mean once a year if you do it regular. I personally give to Church weekly (technically daily since I work there and am always just picking up one thing at the store). The homeless shelter, animal shelter, food bank, and St Jude's Children's hopital monthly. Semi Annually to an orphange in Tijuana and a humanitarian assistance program. Annually to Amnesty International, Global Exchange, Sierra Club, and One World.
The rest is sporadic.
Edit:utpostman on behalf of women who do charity work I resent that remark.

I give to worthy charities.
I do not tithe and I have little interest in supporting religion or helping to build another eye sore church so that the little bit of education that Johnny and Suzie might have picked up at school during the week can be replaced with barbaric tribal nonsense from an age best left to the archaeologists.

God says that 10% of our earnings belong to him. Anything given above that is considered an offering. It says if we do not give the 10% we are robbing him. I have been guilty of stealing from him. It is too easy to make ourselves believe that if we give, we will come up short in the end. Not true.

I give my time, Habitat for Humanity... attractive women seem to be repelled by charity work though...

Yes and your giving should be in secret and not for a show and by that God will reward you then openly.
