um ok i dont get something i heard thar every year or something the bible is changed into a newer version. is this true? if it is then doesnt it ruin the old teachings that was taught by jesus. im not trying to spread hatred im just curios so plz dont slam up mean stuff

Today, there are thousands of different versions of the Bible in circulation and the transcript has been freely translated from one language to another numerous times. According to Bible scholars themselves, the original scripture is no longer extant. It is nowhere to be found. We have no idea if what we are reading and implementing into our lives and belief system is, indeed, God's teaching.
Bear in mind also, that if a book were revealed from Almighty God to the humans, it should not have even a single mistake or error anywhere in it. Otherwise, it would indicate that it is not from a Perfect God, but rather from an imperfect human.

I don't know about every year, but the Bible has been changed many times since its original compilation, that's why we have so many different versions today, which do not all say the same thing. And yes, I agree in many cases it is ruining the teachings of Jesus. I have over 20 different English versions. The scriptures state that they are not for private interpretation and yet we see it all the time with each new version that is published, where the translators add and take away from it. Everyone is concerned with having a more accurate translation. TIll the 20th century the king james version was said to be more accurate, but the King james was translated somewhere in 1600s after that many manuscripts originals were found and so the people had a more accurate version and they have tried to translate it with more accuracy. The English of the KJV is olden style and much outdated now. But still there are many people who prefer the KJV, The latest good translation is the ESV (English Standard Version) which is considered a good translation. I'd recommend New King James Version (NKJV), ESV, or NASB (American Standard Bible), these have more of a word to word translation from the original texts while bible translations like NIV is more of an idea to idea translation which means that its was translated to keep the idea intact rather than the word to word meanings. Ultimately whatever Bible one reads, unless the Holy Spirit guides, no one can understand the truth which God wants us to. So before reading the Bible we always pray to guide us to understand the truth.

and I wanted to add that if any texts are deleted it is because it might not be there in some manuscripts and if any text is deleted, the deleted text is normally put in the footnotes and the reason why its not there with the main text is always explained in the footnotes itself.

Not every year dear
there are a few translations of the bible since the original English King James hit the scene.
Reputable translations are compiled by a team of scholars whose speciality is the ancient Greek, Hebrew and Aramaic text of the scriptures. There are very very few discrepancies in these translations one to the other.
Note that translations that claim to be true to the original text, but are formulated by one or two persons only (eg Jehovah's Witness translation - Book of Mormon etc) are not taken seriously by scholars and are fraught with their own doctrinal translations and references.

Some good examples of translations within the last couple hundred years are the King James, New King James, New International Version, New American Standard (although I have heard several negative comments about this one, I have a copy and refer to it every now and then). Versions like the Amplified and "Living" bible, in my opinion, might prove questionable by virtue of their efforts to convert ancient wording into modern "every day" language.
There are several others.
The only thing I can think of regarding "every year" in your question, is that every day there are scholars working on translating the bible into the languages of the world - so that it can be easily distributed everywhere. This would not be the same as saying "different versions" - simply translated from one language to another.

Versions were supposed to be to make reading easy, but now a days you have denominations coming out with their own versions to back what they teach. If you are a new Christian, the KJV is "NOT" an easy reader, but a good study tool. Some of the newer versions "DO" remove parts sometimes whole paragraphs. With prayer the Holy Spirit will help you understand any so called differences in the versions, it is not the words that are so important as it is "the Truth" that you should know.

No, actually there is no coordinated effort or group out there that re-writes the Bible every year.

It is true that periodically various Bible scholars may embark on a project to render the Holy Scriptures into a newer English rendering...so it might be better understood.

The Bible however is God-Breathed (literally, Theo-Pneumas)...it is not open to re-writes or re-interpretation by man. The Bible is infallible as the trustworthy Word of God in a word-for-word fashion as it was delivered through the direction of God's Holy Spirit during ancient of times up through the 1st Century. However, after the book of Revelation (the 66th book of the Bible), the Canon (i.e., the total collective body of Holy Scripture) was closed. In fact, the very Bible itself condemns anyone to Hell who attempts to add to the it. And God brings strong judgment upon those who would reinterpret/re-write the Bible to twist its original meaning as delivered to the early Church recipients.

Lisa, you can trust any good English translation. Might I recommend versions such as:

New King James
NIV
New American Standard
King James

When new versions of the Bible are released it doesn't change what the Bible says it simply makes it easier for us to read.

Times change. People change. You can always keep old bibles but, the newer versions are just trying to keep up with the new lingo for the newer generations so they may understand and learn.

No slamming necessary. one must read the King James version as the scholars say it is the one that is closest to the orgianl writings. Many new translations are coming out and some are close, but off, and many arent even saying anything like the old Bible. Good question. One must study the meaning of the Old Hebrew and Greek words too, to knowtheir meanings, means you know what GOd was saying. I am a full gospel christian, and I think your question is a good one. A little knowledge is a dangerous thing. ALl of the Bibl e is accurate, but it requires study and prayer and obedience. Obedeince is the key to blessing. disobedeince leads to curse. even the devil believes, so you know we gotta do more than that. WE must follow the God we claim to love. and to do tht, we must KNOW what He says.
