How can I contact my Guardian Angels?

I really need to do so.

I am NOT asking about the ones that wear the fatigues and funny little hats worn on the side of the head.

Ok, guardian angels are really just manifestations of our higher self which resides (due to the absence of time beyond the physical plane) on every plane of existence both above and below the physical simultaneously. To contact any one of your higher selves you will need to meditate and focus on the specific information etc you wish to gain out of the encounter.
The trick is that your higher self will not necessarily manifest to you, that will depend on whether you are ready for that and whether there is a positive purpose in such an encounter, but if you endeavour to make contact with your higher self it will respond, but maybe just in subtle ways.
There are ways of summoning such entities to you and your service, but unless you are an adept of the greater mysteries (and I don't even qualify as an 'apprentice' myself) such ceremonies would be either pointless, dangerous or both to you.

My mom says that I have a whole legion of them, but I have never seen them.
Sometimes when I meditate I pretend to be talking to someone. Its a way I look for guidance Dont ask me how I pick, its a little weird. But just so that I dont tell myself things I want to hear, I have a couple of rules. Whatever the other "person" says cant A) be something that I clearly want. and I determine that if B) its selfish
I've managed to have some good conversations with myself that way - its takes some time to develop - but I've learned a lot and grown a lot as a person that way

This is something I have been conscious of all of my life. I have found that opening your heart is a way to open communication with your angels.

We are all supposed to have one Spirit Guide who we contracted before we came down here... They stay at our right all the time and are constantly helping, guiding, talking to us. Just talk back! Ask a question. Ask them to appear in a dream.

Sylvia Browne has a book "How to Contact Your Spirit Guide" that has a Meditation CD in it. I haven't had much luck personally. I keep asking my spirit guide to tell my his/her name in a dream. I thought about just calling him/her "B-itch"... Ha ha... Just kidding!!! Although Sylvia Browne says it doesn't matter what you call them. I still think it would be nice to know the name!

We have Angels too. I guess they're all helping us stick to our charts (the plan we make before we come here, then "act" out here).
