Whoever kills a soul, unless for a soul, or for corruption done in the land - it is as if he had slain mankind entirely. And whoever saves one, it is as if he had saved mankind entirely

[Qur'an 5:32]

Let there be no misunderstanding: Islam forbids the killing of innocent civilians, wherever and whoever they may be, in absolute terms.

What do you think of my idea?

When someone wants to have an abortion we put three marbles in a bowl. Each of a different color, one is the mom, one is the dad, and another is the baby. Maybe a couple more for the governor. WE mix them all up in a bowl, and the mom has to close her eyes and pick out a marble, which ever one she picks has to die....

Is that fair? I think it is....

Why do some christians think that atheists are suggesting we really believe in God by the answers we give to some questions?

Don't they understand the meaning of "context"?

Any suggestion that deep down, I may believe in God is really quite laughable.

Oh, and Primoa, rather than waste time praying for me, perhaps you'd be better served spending that time reading up a bit on evolution and cosmology.

It is easy for you guys to be pro-choice because your already born...

Shouldn't we wait until the kids are old enough to decide if they wanted to live?

And as far as rape goes, then u kill the rapist not the baby. Tell me this, the woman is raped her son is now five, she suddenly has a flashback when looking at him, she kills him, is that murder? How about a week after he is born? Five mintues? How about as soon as he is all the way out?

I saw an interesting question just now. So, here is mine. I am curious. Assuming it was thought of much earlier than now, how did it work? Most of the people did belong to one religion, right?

Honest question guys. No pun intended.

Matthew 23:9 And do not call anyone on earth 'father,' for you have one Father, and he is in heaven.

So how does that work?

I just asked a question about: Why do people blame god when everything is going wrong?

I got answers from people that dont believe in god saying that if god has so much power than he can take the blame for it!

Let me ask you something..... if you dont believe in god then how can god be the one to blame? If you believe in the devil, wouldn't he be the one t blame for your bad? Just a question!

Once again i will get very hateful answers, but it's ok!

God bless!

As it is own life and he should have the free will to decide.
Why then in some countries , especially the middle east , it becomes a crime punishable by death when you choose to believe in something other then state prescribed religion ? Why do fathers , family friends, neighbours hurl stones or even kill their daughter and sons when they decide to follow a faith of their own heart ? Why disown them when they only choose to exercise their rights. Is it not better for a man to be true to himself then be a hippocrite ?

I am one of the many people that think atheism is a religion also. The only thing that they say is different is that they say there is no proof that God exists.

I ask u, i bought a watch at Wal-mart the other day, now I have never met the man that made my watch, since i have never seen him, is it logical to say he doesn't exist? No, many will say that the watch is proof of a watchmaker, well the world is proof of a creator, you may have never seen Him. but it is not illogical to say that He exists

So, in otherwords i have never seen the watchmaker, but it is illogical to say that he doesn't exist. I have never seen the creator but it is illogical to say that He doesn't exist...

If God gave you fifteen minutes and a huge closet with every kind of garment it it, what would you pick to wear during the Rapture? I think I would go with something white and flowy. I would like to look as much like an angel as possible.

I believe and accept God as my Savior. But their is one thing that is a little bothering me.

According to almost all religions, "a person should follow this religion or he will not enter heaven". I don't believe in that.

Aren't we going to be judged by OUR ACTIONS towards other people who do not have the same religious faith while we're on Earth not on what we believe in?

Example- If a Christian blew himself up, will he go to heaven? He is a Christian right? And according to the Bible, you must be a believer in God to enter heaven.

When I found the Lord as my Savior, many questions I had became answered. But the saying, "You must believe in such and such a religion," I find that quite "arrogant."
