3 person in one GOD 1*1*1=1 not 1+1+1=3

Christians do not believe in THREE Gods, they believe their is but ONE God who is divine in the spirit.

This can be very confusing for some as God is described as being The Father, The Son, AND The Holy Spirit as ONE!

He breathed life into this planet and made man.
He descended from the Heavens as Jesus Christ and died for our sins.
He was resurrected on the third day and ascended back to Heaven to sit with God The Father.
He became The Spirit that gives us our soul. or something along those lines.

Harmony can be in 3 parts, water can be soild ice ,liquid ,or vapor.God is 3 whats and 1 who.1x1x1=1 God in 3 personages not ....1+1+1=3 separate Gods .
When God said in Genesis 1 "Let US make man in OUR image".. He was talking among Himself..the trinity.
Collosians 1 says "All things were made by God through Jesus "... see,He was there in the beginning with the Father.
John1 says "In the beginning was the Word(Jesus) and the word was WITH God and the Word WAS God"...see?
Phillipians says "Jesus thought it not robbery to be equal to God.."
Peter in Acts 5 says "You have lied to the Holy Spirit, you haven't lied to man but to God"..
Maybe that helps? The Father, the Son ,and the Holy Spirit are 1 God in total essence.

You have the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. God is all 3. There is only ONE God.

First of all not all people who call them self Christian believe this is the case. We do not understand ancient Aramaic fully .

Just as all languages are different in Chicago, New York, Erin, England, South London, North London, New Zea land, Wales, Scotland, etc . And still they are decoding the Dead Sea Scrolls. And As unless you have sturdy and been here for over two thousand year . There is no answer to this question.

Also in Arabic there are many different meaning for many words in different Arabic speaking countries.

The same in Turkey , Turkish today is not the same as when the Ottoman Empire control all the middle east.

HI Sam,
There is one GOD, the FATHER. HE is available in three "forms". HE sent HIS SON, JESUS as GOD in the Flesh. HE sent the HOLY SPIRIT to allow the WORD to be given to man and to allow the Apostles to perform miracles and be able to spread HIS WORD while they lived. The three are separate eyt they work as ONE. Have a great day and a wonderful week!
Thanks,
Eds

I believe in ONE GOD... all Christians believe in ONE GOD. The Father, who sent His son to die on the cross, and who after he died became ONE with the father= one entity.

The Holy Spirit is God, in spirit... the comforter, which is in our hearts and which we can feel.

the same way that the comic book world has captain america, batman, superman, iron man, namor, etc. fighting in ww2, "smashing commies" during the 50's, the vietnam war, now figthing terrorists and not aging a day.

its called the "retcon", often used to cover a gap in the storyline.

in the case of christian mythology, they revered jesus and preyed to him, but needed to get arount the 1st commandment- the one about not having any other gods.

Thus if they make up a "triad" or "trinity" sort of thing saying that "no- jesus actually is a part of god" but instead of five robot lions, christianity only has three to form voltron then it is still "worshipping the one true voltron".
