It is easy for you guys to be pro-choice because your already born...
Shouldn't we wait until the kids are old enough to decide if they wanted to live?
And as far as rape goes, then u kill the rapist not the baby. Tell me this, the woman is raped her son is now five, she suddenly has a flashback when looking at him, she kills him, is that murder? How about a week after he is born? Five mintues? How about as soon as he is all the way out?

This is to the first girl, so what you're saying is that we should let the rapist roam free and take the frustration out on the baby?

Also, the first girl. All I am saying is that if the mom has to kill someone then you kill the one who did it, not the result of the mistake.
How can something non-living grow? If u are only suggesting that it can not live on its own, then i say neither can u naked on the north pole, can someone kill you?

What i gather from this, is that u say once a person is out of the womb it is murder, however someone who is defensless it isn't muder? Once ur out of the womb, then ur choices put u wherever.

You think everyone has a right to life? What about the rapist you just suggested should be killed? Is that murder too? Or would it only be murder if it happened when the rapist was a baby or a foetus?
Who said anything about the rapist roaming free? Rapists should be put in prison for a long time. I'm just pointing out the discrepancies in what you're saying.
The woman isn't having an abortion because she feels like she has to kill someone. She doesn't want the child. She doesn't feel like she can bring the child up properly, knowing what happened to bring the child into existence. And no, you should not kill an adult naked at the north pole or whatever. But there is a big difference between a human being who is alive and a bundle of cells that has never lived at all.

It seems you know the answer to you question and just waiting for someone who agrees with you.
This is a personal question, and that answer must come from within; and no one has a right to tell that person what to do, now their are pros and cons of why they should or why they should not, but it is ultimately her choice.
The rapist: maxium punishment
The raped: her life, her choice.
The unborn (if I was the unborn) would not have known what had happened.
What do I believe in, Mercy- let the women choose what is best for her, why make her suffer.
Question: Why would you force a women to become a mother and to suffer for 20+ some years, if she was not ready to become a mother, or a teenager (not ready to be a women, to become a mother) to have her whole life ahead of her, was suddenly taken away, because someone thinks abortion is wrong.

I don't believe that abortion should be used as a form of birth control (that is, multiple abortions in lieu of contraceptives), but I do think that abortion should be an option.
My reason is simple:
My ex and I, some years ago, decided to have a baby. There were problems (ectopic pregnancy), and we were told that if she attempted to carry the baby to term, she and the child would die.
We made the difficult decision to abort - and she is now leading a happy life, and has a healthy child (not mine, but that's another story).
Sometimes, it is necessary to save one life rather than sacrifice two; at least by saving the mother, there is opportunity for her to have another child, if she chooses.
But this is only an expression of my feelings on the matter; no matter what I - or anyone else - may feel or believe, it should be up to the mother-to-be to decide what to do with her body. Neither you, nor I, nor any politician should tell her what to do in these situations.

You don't even know what you are saying as evident by your contradicting statement. You go from supporting life to condemning someone to death in such a quick breath that you don't even realize your hypocrisy. Are we not all born with original sin? Why not punish the baby for its sin as well? Do you see the ridiculousness of your statement? Why not work on the problems that create an atmosphere where abortions occur. Like lack of contraceptives, lack of education, but wait, those are evil as well. There is a no win situation unless you have everything YOUR way.

You know rape cases only account for 1% of all abortions. And to force someone to live with something like a rape for the rest of her life is hard enough....but to give birth to the product of that event is pure agony.
Why should some old white haired men who have never met me or know a thing about me decide what happens or what grows in my uterus? More over why should you?! It's my body, my decision! If you are so concerned with the lives of kids then you should be advocating the overhaul of the child services departments! Cause we all know they have such problems that many kids grow up more screwed over and with more issues while in foster care. So pardon me for not wanting my kid(or hypothetical kids) to grow up in a f@cked up system.

There is no clear decision as to when life begins, so your opinion is just that, an opinion.
How will you sanction men's bodies to equal those sanctions you and your ilk wish to impose on women's?
Why doesn't every anti-abortionist adopt a child?
Why do the people who supposedly care so much about what women do with their bodies, not care about the unwanted child AFTER the child is born?
Put your hypocrisy in a drawer and shove it because last I heard there were not hordes of your kind lining up to care for those children.

We have to make some tough decisions in this world, and one of them is when do groups of cells become a person.
Most laws regarding abortion have made the decision that the groups of cells become a person some time after conception.
And that is at least a responsible effort, even if others do not agree.

Aren't you glad YOU can make a choice to have a baby even if YOU are raped and become pregnant? Or when your child is raped you could help your child make the choice to have and love a child that comes from hate? I am happy for you that you and I can make THAT choice. Sweet freedom still exists for all of us.

Why should she and the child be forced to carry that mark for the rest of their lives? I have an idea, leave others alone. It isn't your business, why should someone have to give you all the sordid details of a horrible experience so you can decide that they have suffered enough to make a decision about their own body and life. Anyone who could have an abortion was never going to be a great mom, why don't you try then eh?

Procreation is an ongoing process which can be interrupted at any point, right from not having sex in the first place, through contraception, and drugs which prevent implantation, to abortion anywhere up to the moment of birth.
Somewhere along that process, most people would have a point where they consider it's OK to interfere to prevent the birth of a baby up to that point, but not afterwards - e.g. abstinence is OK, but contraception isn't.... or contraception is OK, but abortion isn't... or abortion is OK but only up to week 20... or whatever. It's simply a matter of conscience where you personally decide to draw the line, and on what basis.
For myself, I cannot accept that an undifferentiated bunch of cells has more rights than the fully grown adults who are responsible for its existence. I also cannot accept that it's right to kill a foetus when it's fully developed and due to be born. Logically then, there has to be a point somewhere in between that I decide, on the basis of conscience, is the point at which abortion becomes unacceptable. I don't know enough about it to have a definite view where that point lies, but it must lie somewhere in the 9 months of pregnancy.
It's in the nature of life that there are no easy answers to this kind of question, as it's a matter of subjective opinion rather than objective fact - and my opinion is that abortion cannot be wrong, per se.
Oh, and it's pointless to argue about whether the embryo is 'human life' or not - Of course it is. That is not the issue. The issue is whether a human life at a stage of being a tiny featureless blob of cells should be protected at the expense of the wishes of the parents - and particularly the woman who would have to give birth to it. I don't think it should.
