No, Whiskey and most Vodka is not kosher for passover because they are made from grain products.

You can find Vodka that is made from potatoes and that will be Kosher, but I personally dont like the stuff.


As for wine, their are some very good Kosher Israeli and Californian wines that are on par with other good quality wines.

Alcohol made from sugar cane can be kosher for Pesach.
Kedem makes a Kosher L'Pesach Suga cane vodka.
There are also spirits made from cherries or plums and potatoes that are kosher for Pesach.

As far as I know, I only know about a few American Kosher wines like Manischewitz and Mogen David...There're probably a few others, and I do recall a grape juice by an outfit named Kedem that comes in what looks like a wine bottle..

Arent there at least four times in a seder where you drain your cup? That could take the spirit right out of things I'd guess.
