I have done the walk and I have done the saved thing at different times. I still do not believe that I have been saved. And I now I am starting to care less about Jesus and anything to do with Church. I am getting very anger and mean. I am full of hate. I truly would like to change but I can never truly repent. I still want to do sinful things. I been reall depressed lately and started cutting myself. I do not think I can be saved or I do not know what I am doing wrong. Can someone please give me some advice?

Any thoughts, pro or con? I have a family member who really likes this guy. I have some real problems with his view on the current state of the 'church'.

What do you think?

say that someday soon there is a mass sighting wherein like one million people all see the same UFO/spacecraft and the government comes out and says they knew all along...how would your religion respond? would it adapt itself? would it collapse? would it fall into disorder and chaos?

i'm very serious and genuinely want to know: what do you think would happen? would it even matter?

Why Dont you believe in Zues? Odin? Krishna? why dont you believe in The Goddess Eostre? you know you celebrate her holy day every year (Easter) ^_^

so why is it you are always asking the pagans why they dont believe in your God, now it's time for you to get asked the same thing :)

you know about noah's ark, right? if the flood was big enough to cover the whold earth, that explains why the grand canyon was formed before the flood, the earth was beautiful and did not have any mountains to start with the earth was covered with fertile soil. the flood washed everything away and revealed the bare rocks and gorges that is now called the grand canyon. thats why theres fossils of sea creatures in the grand canyon because of the flood. that makes more sense than what the crack headed scientists say, right? also they found pieces of noah's ark on Mt. Ararat, the place where the ark rested. it is also known that Jericho was destroyed by earthquakes, which is similar to the israealites marching around the city 7 times and then God destroying it. and all the other histrorical events match with the actual history of the ancient world. First babylon, then persia, then greece, then rome, then divided europe, which is exactly how the Bible puts it. i have more proof, no room

Hi. I find it quite scary reading peoples opinions about their religion or lack of. Some are just extremely convinced in their truth. I'm actually quite scared. I'm scared of the intense feelings and also scared about making the right decision.

Do you also find the religious debate quite scary?

I mean you don't have to believe in God to believe that life is precious and should be treated as such. I do but I'm wondering if there are atheists out there who do as well. If there you've gained a lot of respect from me. I don't care what religion you are as long as you don't support the right to murder the innocent?

We had a really exciting visit today, I can't believe I forgot about it until now. We got a flier from the Jehovah's Witnesses telling us that apparently this year Jesus died on April 2. Well that's when they were "celebrating" it anyway. How is that calculated, is it to do with the moon?

But possibly the most exciting part is that we found out we've got a local Kingdom Hall! It's a small suburb, don't know how we've missed it, but there you go. Any advice on this new discovery?

I know there's several questions there, but at least this way people can take up whichever bit they want (as usual) and STILL feel like they're answering the question! Who says heathens can't be generous?!

I was raised pentecostal by two caribean parents.
I get conflicting messages, one which says I can be anything I want once I get out of college but another that says
I have a certain path to follow anyways.

they seem to get upset when I dont follow this "predetermined" path. I cant bear to see myself ending up like so many people in my church, old and redundant. I'm 20 and soo I will have to soar.

I want so bad to leave my church and find a new one. I hate being so well know.

any advice?

my dreams include leaving this place to start a rock and and touring.
Then later use my degree in finance to help disadvantaged families coordinate bills and
If I ever become famous, I would like to use my money and influence to coordinate serious efforts on behalf of children who cant read.

yes everything that goes through my head is lofty, with most of it being left up to chance, but I still dream.

Why do so many cultures have REAL dragon legends? Perhaps we did live at one point with dinosaurs?

"26 Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, [b] and over all the creatures that move along the ground."

27 So God created man in his own image,
in the image of God he created him;
male and female he created them.

The bible never mentions dinosaurs and we have more proof of that then we do about a book or an Arch.

I think the bible was written long ago to teach people about morals and ethics not to kill others or toture each other and to be kind to others to respect them in this world. And share what we have.

If the divide was even greater, would we do away with Christmas and Easter, or keep the holidays, minus the pagan and Christian associations, and rightfully call them 'Winter' and 'Spring' holidays. Maybe add a summer one and would the name 'Halloween' stay the same (since it is so distorted from 'All Hallow's Eve') or completely change it to another?

The question still remains why are NON-BELIEVERS in this forum, to keep up confusion, strife and division among the contributors? That is not the work of ANY Godly Spirit. Satan said he came to kill, steal and destroy. God said He came to give us life. So....Who's voice are YOU listening to?

They are asking their supporters to "pledge a protester." Every year on Good Friday thousands of Protesters show up at our local Planned Parenthood, so this year they are asking people to pledge an amount of money for every protester that shows up, so in essence all the protesters will be raising money for the clinics. The more anti choice individuals who show up, the more money Planned Parenthood gets. I think its a great idea! heres the link.... "Pledge a Protester"

From your own perspective, how do you feel teaching one (and only one) religious concept in public schools (e.g. Creation) would protect our religious freedom OR how would it encroach upon our religious freedom?

Please remember that not all people believe in one religion when formulating your answer.
