The question still remains why are NON-BELIEVERS in this forum, to keep up confusion, strife and division among the contributors? That is not the work of ANY Godly Spirit. Satan said he came to kill, steal and destroy. God said He came to give us life. So....Who's voice are YOU listening to?

Truth is in the mind of the believer.
So you are telling us about your truth not ours.
I listen to my own voice,
and I haven't killed, stolen or destroyed anything.

I am a Shintoist. I have no doubt in my faith; I do understand which parts of my faith are based on parable and story, rather than facts.
I studied many religions thoroughly before realizing that Shinto seemed the most suited to me. The Christian God is arbitrary, self-contradicting and spiteful. That seemed wrong to me, especially since the more fanatical Christians seem to be the same way.
Your question was already answered multiple times, though I suspect not in the way you wanted.

Non-believers come to the Religion forum because there are more religions in the world than yours; as for atheists, perhaps they like the debate.
In a lot of cases, there seem to be questions regarding atheism & such. Would you prefer that the answers come from people who are uneducated about the philosophy (or lack thereof) in question, or from the people who actually hold that belief (or non-belief)?
Judging from the tone of your posts, I already know the answer.

Of course, there is no reason to ban 'non-believers' from the forum, anyway. This is a public forum, and anyone is free to post. You'll have to accept that.

This is a time for can do Christians not Milquetoast. And i hope i get lots of thumbs down. Then i know i am on the right track. you say you are a christian so why talk like an atheist?

You tell the truth? How do you know that you tell the truth? You only tell your view of what you think is the truth. You have an opinion. I have an opinion.
I am here because of people like you.
God does not exist. Satan does not exist. That's MY version of the truth and nothing you can waffle about will change that fact .
The voice I am listening to is the voice of reason.
All religion is wishful non-thinking. Don't you understand?
Just review the answers you have received and then retire gracefully. Lick your wounds and mumble into your hands for your god to change the world just for you.
If you ever return here, do try and understand that atheists are not idiots. We do prefer sensible questions that have the possibility of sensible debate.
Must go now, the leprechauns are demanding tea and cake.

Why do you assume all non-believers follow Satan? When you use the phrase "non-believers" are you referring to those who don't follow your particular religion? That's a little ignorant of you, isn't it? Why can't you accept the fact that some people choose not to believe in your god? As a non-believer, I don't believe in any supernatural beings, i.e. god, satan, angels, devils, spirits, souls, goblins, zombies, ghosts, fairies, etc. The list is practically eternal. The point is: don't force your beliefs on other people.

This is, without a doubt, the most active forum on Yahoo Answers. It is fun to come here and see some of the ridiculous statements that some people make. It is funnier than the joke section.

I'm answering your first question. I clicked on this because I thought you had (or assumed you had) the truth. I wanted to finally see this 'truth.' Alas, I know the answer to your original question. People are probably mad at you because you assume you're telling the truth. I'd guess you do so in a way that can be seen as pompous or arrogant. Just a guess.

Non-believers in what? The Judeo-Christian concept of 'God'? What makes you think that that is the only thing that can be considered "Religion & Spirituality"?

(And by the way, for a God who said He came to give us life, he killed an awful lot of people - that whole Flood thing, ya know?)

I don't listen to voices. If you are hearing voices you need to go see a psychiatrist. Hearing voices is a form of psychosis.

Oh, and I'm here because I can be. If you really wanted to be spiritual you guys would start asking spiritual questions rather than, "Why are you non-believers here?" "Do you believe in god?" "Did you know there is no proof for evolution?" and my personal favorite, "Bible quiz, who in the Bible.....?" Yeah, we are really getting down to the spiritual side of things with those.

I'm listening to my own voice. My inner heart and soul. God and Satan can argue the point I am happy to listen to me, a good judge of what is good for me or not. I have no strife or diversion, very focused here......

This forum is open to the general public. Anyone can get on here and comment on religion and sprirituality. But I suspect you didn't even bother to notice. I listen to the voice of reason and logic.
