They are asking their supporters to "pledge a protester." Every year on Good Friday thousands of Protesters show up at our local Planned Parenthood, so this year they are asking people to pledge an amount of money for every protester that shows up, so in essence all the protesters will be raising money for the clinics. The more anti choice individuals who show up, the more money Planned Parenthood gets. I think its a great idea! heres the link.... "Pledge a Protester"

planned parenthood does more than abortions, they also provide sexual and reproductive health care, including family planning (including contraceptives), gynecological care, STI/STD testing and treatment, pregnancy testing

it is the wonderful subject i've got heard all day! Cheers to planned Parenthood! That must be the wonderful concept i've got heard of in a sturdy 3 hundred and sixty 5 days or so. here is an concept: every physique interior the section on sturdy Friday who's professional-decision might desire to take a expert-decision sign of help and wood around midday. possibly they are going to count huge type you as a protester, which might develop the completed volume of money they strengthen! You kill 2 birds with one stone: You teach your help by ability of stunning the heck out of those ignorant, hateful anti-decision people, and you help in making contributions to a sturdy reason.

Oh, cool! Great idea.
Man, I participated in "clinic defense" something like 12 years ago, and the most dramatic thing I learned is that a large proportion - roughly 1/2 to 1/3 - of the antiabortion protesters there were simply outright mentally ill. Not "on the edge", but raving, ranting nuts, utterly incoherent.
I cannot imagine wanting to support a position that depends so much on irrationality for support.

First of all there is no such as good friday in the bible. alleged good Friday is the wrong practice of some religion in christianbity like the catholics but other christians do not practice it.
The Pledge a Protester is not a kind of relgion but a group of persons who joined together and raised money for themselves. Check on them if they have the permit from the government of collecting money to enrich themselves.

This is a Great campaign.
Imagine all the protesters who will be inadvertently helping pay for abortions and contraception.
Maybe some of them will come to their senses and realize that they were tasked to help the poor and needy, not protest against them.

Jesus turned to them and said,
“Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me;
weep instead for yourselves and for your children
for indeed, the days are coming when people will say,
‘Blessed are the barren,
the wombs that never bore
and the breasts that never nursed.’
At that time people will say to the mountains,
‘Fall upon us!’
and to the hills, ‘Cover us!’
for if these things are done when the wood is green
what will happen when it is dry?”

Wow, they must be really feeling the heat to come up with something like this. Good, maybe enough protesters will show up so they won't "need" any more tax dollars. Let their deluded fans keep them afloat, not the whole country.

I have heard. It is a very clever technique. I pledge to donate money to anti-abortion causes every time I see someone here refer to an unborn child as a "clump of cells".

That's a wonderful idea. Especially for those PP centers that get picketed, despite not having abortion facilities.
I'm gonna send them a few bucks right now.
