Amen to that one. I would rather live for god now and not have to worry about going through a literal hell on earth. To all non-Christians, there is still time!

The movie Left Behind sucked. If life after your rapture is like that movie, then yes. Though it would rock to meet Kirk Cameron.

But on a more serious note...

This question won't really make anyone that doesn't believe in the rapture start believing. It's just going to get you a lot of answers that are going to make you angry. Either angry or self-rightous, whichever type of person you are.

Instead, try politely informing people of your beliefs, not telling them how much it sucks to be them. The intelligent people will be much more receptive, and if not receptive, at least respectful.

I've read a lot of comments on here, including a lot of ignorant ones towards Christians. First of all, I'm not one to lash out. What you say doesn't bother me, as a Christian, because I know where I'm going when I die. I feel sorry for you lost souls. Trust me, you lead a much more peaceful life knowing what's going to happen to you. But I will address the issues.

I've heard comments such as, 'when there is the rapture, the Christians are going to die'. WRONG! Let me tell you the truth. We will have eternal life. You may be able to live out a few short years here on earth (and I hope you have fun), because then it will be over, and if you haven't accepted what us Christians have been trying to tell you, then you will surely die in the Lake of Fire. See, Jesus has conquered death, and if you accept him, then SO DO YOU!

I've also heard the ignorant comments such as 'we'll be glad and happy that you Christians are gone'. TRUST ME: you will NOT be happy at all. This world will come to complete chaos, much more than it is today, and you will want to die, but God will have you suffer....which leads me to another comment that I heard:

"Why would God leave behind his Children?"
Simply put, you are not a child of God if you haven't accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. (He may be savior to all, but that is ONLY if you acknoweledge and accept him) Just as he lets some suffer, Somethings will be known to us in due time.

We are not the ones with little faith. We are the ones with faith to move mountains.

To the question poster: Please keep steady in your path with God and Christ, and be patient with non-believers, WITH AN IRON FIST! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to spread a light of truth on this question page. May God Bless you and lead you!

To all non-believers: Next time, think twice before you rumble with a Man of God! ...oh yeah, and May God Bless You Too!

If you believe in the "rapture", good for you. People have been saying that for the past 700 years and some even claim that it already happened.

1. Did you know that most people in the world would die without knowing anything about Christianity? Would your merciful God send them to hell?

2. Do you know of the many atrocities done in the name of God for the past 1,700 years? Are those people in heaven? After all, those who committed those crimes, surely believed that they God instructed them to do so because that was in their Bibles.

3. Are today Christians better than the Primitive Christians? After all, Primitive Christians had over 19 Gospels of Christ, while today's Christians have only four Gospels.

4. Since when to be "less informed" means the same as "highway to heaven"? After all, If you lack of the same information that the Primitive Christians had, that would put you in an awkward position to affirm that you will go to heaven.

The lack of information regarding your Savior's teachings, equals the ignorance of all others who believe in something different than you. The "rapture" may not necessarily be as your religious leader have taught you.

I sure would hate to be in your shoes.

I'd hate to be them too, but in our church we call it being Translated (not sure why...) and a question, how come you call it the rapture?? and yes it would suck to be left behind, thats why I do everything that I can to not be left behind...

spend all of your life being right do you?
the problem with the logic that places you in the position of righteousness is that it "begs the question."
look that up, if you don't know what it means, then i would "hate to be you" particularly as a christian as it is an often recognized problem with christian philosophical arguments.
one you should be aware of when engaging in discourse with people who think about the things that they believe.
second, i do not claim there is no rapture only that intellect, science and reason forbid me to believe in archane apocalyptic notions of global holocaust because jesus' ego was not satisfied, or because a bunch of generally uninformed people insist on perpetuating mythology like "the rapture" and noah's frickin' ark.
what god leaves souls behind? if the answer is yours, then your god sucks.

That wouldn't suck as much as would if I believed in the rapture but was still left behind.
What would you do if that was you or are you so convinced in your piety that you're not worried about it?
I don't believe in the rapture but it would be interesting to see how many of the holier than thou Christian leaders and political figures would still be here.

Hey do me a favor, go to your Bible, look for the rapture, come back when you find it. Plus, how do you know we will all be around when it happens? I say, what if it didn't happen? You put your faith in god and then you got to go through the trial and tribulation anyways. Boy that would suck to be you.

Actually if by some HUGE HUGE HUGE miracle Jesus actually exists and comes back then I will be happy to be left behind. I mean A world without religion will feel great. Finally the smart people can get on with their lives without you Christians starting crap with everyone. I say good riddance

LMAO!!!!!!!!!!! I crack up at this left behind rubbish.

Miss Genius, are you aware that the whole concept of rapture was not even invented until the 1800's?

Regardless, it would be nice to have people like you gone anyway.
