Why is it that so many people on Yahoo! Answers never utilize the Check Spelling feature provided to them by Yahoo?

Is it out of complete and utter laziness or something else?

Some people miss spell so horrible that it's not viable, even when it is a potientially good anwser and/or Question. What's your opinion.

Hey, I was wondering what words are aloud to be aired on television [specifically on music channels]. I'm wanting to know what words to censor for a video I'm making. Thanks.

My grandmother and great grandmother
both just passed on (2 weeks apart) and
I was pretty overwhelmed by the number of people saying
" Condolence. " or " I'm sorry for your loss... " etc...

It felt really awkward saying "Thank you."...
or nothing at all...

What was I supposed to say?

We've received gifts of checks from friends we know who can't afford it, or we feel uncomfortable accepting from. We want to return the money but aren't sure of the most tactful way.

This idiot refuses to go to neighborhood mediation, compromise in any way over a shared 4 ft. chainlink fence. When the police come he pretends he can't speak english and hides behind his wife. I've even offered to put up a privacy fence and pay for it myself. Argggggggggggg. My husband recently passed away and I can't take much more of this from these people! What would you do?

A girl whos dating my friend writes in her myspace some facts about herself:
She says " I went to etiquette school for a year, do not like bad behaviour and tolerate some or I would have no friends"
"I was a professional ice skater and won awards"
'I scored a high point on my SATS"
"I was my school validictorian"
"I was voted Ms. Florida"

I mean is she obnoxious or what? Whats funny is that her best friend is dating a guy whos a sleazy alcholic.

Why does this site have that automated censoring. Sweet jesus, Ive just tried to write the word a r s e and its been blanked out. Swearing is part of the english language whether you like it or not and its entrenched in our culture. Why do these big media companies feel the need to nanny us and protect us from real life. Another example - try writing a question in block capitals, it won't let you. Apparently this is rude. Whatever happened to freedom of speech and expression. Nothing punctuates a sentance like a good ****!

I don't understand how people can be so cheap sometimes...
Giving people rides-okay so gas is expensive these days...it's not like our job pay goes up with the cost of living so at times it can be a struggle to make ends meet ...I find it a bit offensive when I do someone a favor by taking them somewhere and I am not talking once or twice...I mean on a daily basis and they cannot even offer gas money...I mean seriously...if somebody is doing you a favor show some appreciation and help with the gas bill...I'm not asking to fill up my tank but 10 dollars would really help out more then you would know...
Ordering Food and Tips-I always like to tip...no matter if I am at a resturant or ordering food..but why must I be the only one to throw money in for a tip?...I know it's not madatory but hey...stop being so stingy with a dollar and throw it in to help out the person who is delivering your food...especially if they don't charge for delivery...

is that really too much to ask?

You see them everywhere... and many of them are too young to be trying to look the way they do(some way too young), and they know what they are are wearing and why they are wearing it(Please, if you were only dressing for the heat, you wouldn't need yours shorts halfway up your a$$), but they get offended or frightened when you react to them or say something about how hot they look or how much they turn you on. I mean, aren't they trying to look hot and turn you on. Sometimes, I 'll get a big smile from a girl I'm staring at and I know I've come across one with a brain. Yeah, you know what you are doing!

The other day I walked out to the parking lot to our apartment building to see the 13-year-old girl I live next to having sex with a boy in his car!! I'm not close to her or her family, so I don't know how I could ever bring it up, but I'm concerned for her and scared she could get into some trouble. What am I supposed to do? This has got to be illegal to some extent right?

I don't mean is it wrong in biblical terms - clearly yes.
I don't mean a feeling of attraction that leads to wanting to have a date & see how things go......

I'm talking about LUST. Someone you work with, stranger on the bus, lady in the street, a friend, your pal's girlfriend, etc

The feeling goes on & stays in your head ........ but is it wrong ?

When we built our home two years ago, we decided the best guest bedroom for my mother-in-law and father-in-law would be the one that had its own bath. When they visited last, she decided she liked the bathroom down the hall better and then slept in another bedroom off and on as well. I was a little perturbed with this as I thought it was rather rude to mess up two bathrooms and two bedrooms for just two people in someone's home! I would NEVER dream of venturing out in someone else's home and just decide to stay where I wanted to! Am I wrong in thinking this way? What would she do if we lived in a two bedroom home? She would not have this luxury.

They are coming down for a visit next week and I am trying to find a tactful way to dissuade this from happening again this year.

I have a department luncheon tomorrow at a golf resort restaurant. I have been invited, but am only a summer intern. I've decided to go, since I declined to attend one last summer. What should I expect? Who pays: me or the company? The company is a power company with a 'business casual' dress code, if that helps. Thanks!

I am expected to go, although I don't really know her all that well. Only been with the company three months...in management and this is an employee who is transferring. Is there a good way to bow out gracefully? It is at a bar and I'm not big into the "bar scene" anymore.
