I think it's silly. If my spouse is up at the buttcrack of dawn for work and I roll in past their "bedtime", I would call a cab without even thinking twice. You guys are weird.

It's pointless because you don't really know the situation. So, it's baseless to be abusive; and believe me I take no offense. If you lived my life for a week you'd go back to your nice rambler in Iowa and your 15 minute commute in a heartbeat.

pick them up because they are the one that you promised to love and cherish now and forever.... and this is one way to show that they are important to you

Of course you should! Anyone who wouldn't is, IMHO, an selfish self-centered jackass who doesn't really deserve a spouse.
This also works both ways. Your spouse is also free to say something like "don't be silly, I'll take a cab...".
It is the earnest willingness to do what you can to help your partner that matters. The most reasonable course of action should be worked out between you.

Of course I'd go get him. What is the matter with you? And yes he'd better come get me to. That is what is wrong with marriages these days. No care,love ,concern. Oh just go get a cab.They've been travailing and are probably tired,hungry aggravated.Yes I've been on a plane and the lines are horrendous the crowds terrible. No I'd come get him in a heartbeat. Simply , because I love him.

You should ALWAYS be nicest to people who know where you sleep.
Get the hell out of bed and go get your wife.
The only alternative would be to have a limo waiting for her at the airport with you and a bottle of champagne in it. That way you can sleep on the way to the airport, wake up and you can have a lovely trip home.

I would definitely pick them up. If it was really late then I would assume my spouse is missing out on sleep as well. I'd rather just provide a safe, comfortable way for them to get home.

Unless you have a medical condition and need to stay in bed, you should always pick up your spouse at the airport.

If u would like to stay married the answer is yes. Part of your role, hubby, is to sacrifice for your family. It's not like it's everyday and if you are that concerned about sleep trying going to bed earlier or just call in sick the next day.

That one depends on two things...
1. Do you have a good divorce attorney?
2. do you wish to lose everything you once owned?
If the answer to one or both of the above questions is yes....then by all means, get a full nights sleep....

omg you are such a LAZY@SS!!! get off your butt, and pick up the person you freakin married from the damn airport.
what if something happened to them on the way home and you chose not to help because you were too much of a lazy@ss to get your butt out of bed?
you're supposed to take care of each other, not sleep like there is no one else in this world to care about.

Priorities. What is more important to you, sleep, or your spouse? An even better question is, what do you want your SPOUSE to think is more important to you? And finally, how long do want to stay with this person?
