Okay, so, I have a "friend" who bought something for herself that was on my wedding registry after she saw it on there. And I'm not talking about something small. She bought the ENTIRE bedding set I had listed. Am I overreacting? Or just a little irked? Oh, and what she got us.......a picture frame!

ugh im so disgusted with smokers smoking around you, its like they're trying to get me killed! Even if they are standing at a distance, the wind always seems to blow the smell in my face. I can never seem to escape this because my stepdad smokes as well, and just now he like filled the entire garage with smoke and my mom was just pissed because she couldnt do her laundry.

don't you hate smokers? Have friends who smoke and want to help them quit? Tired of second handsmoking?

I am getting sick and tired of hearing that one person is not acting black enough, or another person is acting too white. Why can't acting black be a positive thing rather then being known as loud, obnoxious and among other negative things.

Through out my life, many told me that i acted like a white girl, so I tried to shed the image by acting the way that "they" wanted me to act, in reality I was falling into the trap of what society wanted me to be, rather then becoming my own person.

Anyways, I’ve learn and came to the realization that there is no such thing as acting or being a certain color. I think who we are and what we do in our lives are basically influence by where we were bought up and who we encounter with in our daily lives..

Also, I just have to say that just because you are a certain color doesn't necessarily mean that one shoud be limited to listing to certain "types" of music.

What do you think.

My family members DEMAND stuff from me & say "Gimme... or let me use..." & threaten me out of giving it to them, but I ask politely, "May I please have... or may I please borrow..." & be told HELL NO!

OK, so I have another court date. This time it was for driving naked in a state park. The other day I took a little trip to the beach and stretched out on the warm sand and fell sound asleep. I woke up about an hour later to discover that the dang sea gulls had been into my potato chips I had brought along and there was gull poop all over my backside and hair--yuk! I ran into the surf and stripped off my clothes and tried to rinse them out but they still smelled like old fish guts. I stayed in the water for awhile and was wondering where everybody had gotten off to when I hear this huge BOOM! Dang if there wasn't a huge storm coming off the water right for me and I was the last dumba** left on the beach. I figured since no one was around I would just trot over to my truck and drive home. Well I made it to the truck and even drove about three miles before a cop pulled me over (cause I don't have a windsheild) and gave me a ticket to see the judge. Oh, Lord -- what do I do now??

What about black & white? Also are there any other "do nots" when attending a funeral?

For a best friend's Mom who has made me countless Sunday dinners, I made a Cosmopolitan gift set. It includes the vodka, triple sec, cranberry and lime juice, a set of 4 glasses and a shaker. After putting it all together I started wondering if it's too much. What does everyone think?

I was walking across a parking lot today and this guy pulled up beside me and asked if I wanted to go for a ride. I was taken by surprise and didn't know what to say other than no thanks. What would have been a good come back?

I have recently started working at a new daycare for the summer, which could lead into the fall. Since I go to college, throughout the year I work at another daycare but this summer they couldnt offer me too many hours. Well anyway, I am having some trouble with a few new coworkers. First, this woman we will call A has been very degrading to me. The first day she made comments about me not "talking" and said I just sit there and dont interact with the kids. A few days after that she was talking about me to another girl (they were both looking and pointing). She also accused me of not changing diapers (when I do it more than anyone) and accused me of "babying" the 1 year olds. (sorry but when i 1yr old gets hurt, i like to comfort them). She keeps making smart a** comments here and there and its really pi**ing me off. Just because she is this old grandma who tries to be young and ghetto, yeah she thinks shes beyonce..she thinks she can boss me around. Im tired of dreading coming to work

There are some things going on around my office that I feel should be shared with my boss. But how do I go about bringing them up without sounding like a kiddish tattle tale. Often times I would just mind my own business and let the others go about theirs, but now their actions are starting to affect me. Thanks!

I found that male neighbour A is really trying to pull neighbour B's wife. Should I tell neighbour B? But neighbour B had asked me to go over the other night when his wife was not home. Would I be like alienating neighbour B and his wife if I tell him? And may be give him a wrong idea that I respond to his booty call?

... and presumably everyone, young, old, in-between wants to be respected, then why don't young people in retail environment call their peers ma'am and sir? A lot of people protest that these terms make them feel old, like someone is trying to "bury" them before their time...

What do you think about those of us who enjoy going barefoot in public? I'm just asking about the impression you get, so do not say it's illegal because of health dept. reg.s, or because one can't drive barefoot legally. It is perfectly legal
