If this gesture makes you happy then go ahead.
It is the joy of giving that matters.
If this lack of appreciation bothers you that much then stop.
goodluck...
I feed my staff on weekends and I do it regularly but for some reason they are more appreciative of those who feed them once in a while. Maybe they got so used to me doing this for a while that they think I should do it as a boss...
so I stopped... no more free food...
well, actually I still feed a chosen few who appreciates my gesture so I do it for them "discreetly"... LOL

Usually even if i want something from someone i always say no. I would think the person who was offering whatever it was was just trying to be nice, but expected me to say no. but as soon as i see them in the lobby i would know that he/she really wanted to share them, and i would take 2 or 3 haha

Donuts are a guilty pleasure for many people. They do not want to admit that they eat them, but will cram themselves full of donuts if they think nobody is looking.

Bringing donut to work to co-worker is very nice of you. But sometime people just don't know how to appreciate thing like these. So it best to stop bringing donut for awhile and if you do expect that you may not get any thanks from anybody.

Sure. If it makes you happy to bring donuts, bring 'em. You're apparently making a lot of other people happy, too. I wish I worked there.... I love donuts!!!

Lol...maybe 1 person is like eating them all! Or maybe taking some home? Well it kinda sucks they don't even say thank you. However, at the same note, if somebody asks if I want one I usually say no, but after looking at them I might give in. If I know who brought them I would say thank you!

If you like donuts that much, then only buy them for yourself. Eat them away from work.

it's good to do things like that every once in a while but not too often because then they will expect it from you all the time.
