Its a lie. Real men do cry, and there is nothing wrong with that.

That's so not true. Real men do cry, because they have feelings to. And even if they say they never cry, they totally do, and it's probably when they're alone.

It's insane.
Of course real men cry.
This believe has done untold damage on both the direct victims (men), and indirect victims (everyone around the men who have internalized this sick notion).
This is an idea that's wrong in every way.
It's inaccurate, and it's unhealthy.
We will all be better off when this disgusting belief is eradicated.

That whoever said it is an ignoramus. Men are human beings with feelings. Sadness is a feeling. Men have been known, I believe, to feel sad, and sorrowful, and frustrated. And crying is a way to express those feelings. I feel sorry for a man who is unable to cry or who thinks it makes him weak. If anything, it shows he feels deeply about things.

Am I the first man here to admit to crying? When I have lost a loved one, when my friends and family cheered as I received my diploma, when a horrific world event occurs... There are many occasions in life that can drive anyone's emotions over the edge. Any real man or woman who says they have not cried is not real and is not living life to its fullest.

That statement is really stupid. A real man does cry. Its the sweetest thing to see. It shows that he doesn't care about the "rules" and lives life like he wants to live it and if its a movie or something in live that touches him just right....just let it out.

BULL!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think it takes a real man to cry. I'm not talking about being a crybaby, but seeing a man express his emotions at times by crying is a humbling experience for me. And for him to do this and not be belittled is SO important to his manhood. Whoever came up with that statement was just stupid.
